"Most Convenient Stop-Over"

Novotel's CDG Terminal is a great option for the UK leisure traveller (spending their own money!) looking for minimum hassle with a stop-over at CDG. It's the 'numero uno' selection for our family every time. The hotel is located a stone's throw (really!) from the automatic light-railway connection between the Terminals, so reaching it from Arrivals and heading for Departures is dead simple. None of the hotels in/near CDG can be considered 'cheap' (although the nearby IBIS is a lower cost option) but this Novotel offers good value, I reckon. On our last stop-over, my wife and I had both lunch and dinner in the restaurant and whilst choice is limited, the food is well-prepared and tasty so you'll know you're in France. (Head Waiter Erick was a great host to us, even though our first words to him were a request to change the table allocated to us.) The building is well-insulated; you'll not think there is a plane anywhere near the place, so a good sleep comes as part of the package, which is not always the case with airport hotels, I find (Platinum on AF/KLM in my day job).

"Great for stopovers or early flights!"

Stayed here in February, 2013 before an early morning flight with friends. Impressed and happy with our experience. The location makes this hotel a great place to stay before an early morning flight. It was both clean and comfortable.

"Good for"

I and my 2 sons needed to stay one night at Paris after my tour to East Europe on 30 Dec, 2012. I selected here for its attractive price and the convenient location. The hotel is just next to the PER station but I had wandered inside the station for a while because the hotel logo was not easily to be seen. The reception lady was polite but I could not say she was friendly. I could not find a smile on her face. The room was clean and comfortable but smaller than I expected. It needs to take 30 to 45 minmutes by train to the centre of Paris and cost 9.25 euro per person per one way. It was expensive for us to go out for sightseeing (55.5 euro for the round trip). It might be better to stay near Paris if considering the total cost and travelling time. However, I recommend here to stay for stopover or taking early morning flight.

"Nice hotel located at CDG Airport Terminal 3"

Nice clean and spacious room. This hotel is connected to terminal 3. So if your flight is at a different terminal you will need to take the airport shuttle. Breakfast costs €16. Rooms comes with free wifi. Great for short stay in Paris. we stayed for 2 nights and saved us the hassle of lugging our bags and expensive cab fare to town. We suggest to take Roissy Bus to Paris Centre. Costs €10 per way. Stops near Galarie Lafayette. You may buy your tickets from the tourist information counter or from the bus driver. Bus is clean and stops at all airport terminals. We have tried the Metro to Paris Centre and is rather confusing.

"Great for a stopover"

We had one afternoon and a night in Paris, so the hotel's location was perfect. We checked in, then caught the train into central Paris. The only slight problem we had was finding the hotel - the signposting from CGD Terminal 2 could be a little clearer.

"Great for the airport"

We selected this hotel mostly because we wanted something close to the airport to get us to our early departure with as little fuss as possible. In this respect the hotel is perfect! It is physically connected to Roissypole station by a covered walkway, great for train and the CDGVAL shuttle. We arrived by car and the hotel was easy to find and there was enough space for us to unload without blocking the driveway.The staff were friendly and efficient, though initial order-taking at dinner was a little slow. The food itself was very good at a reasonable price.The picture in the room that had fallen off and was just left sitting on top of the sofa bed and leaning against the wall was our only criticism of the room, which was otherwise very good. The separate toilet is good to see, the bathroom was excellent with a good sized shower which provided a great shower. The sofa bed was two singles which was excellent for our kids. The room was big enough for us as a family of four with three medium sized bags and a couple of backpacks. As a place to spend a few hours with a good meal and a sleep before boarding a plane, it fulfilled our expectations and needs perfectly.

"Excellent!"

Excellent location; can't beat it! You do not have to go out on the street to take the train to Paris and you are inside the airport! staff is friendly and service is great. The food was good; for 1 euro you have a continental breakfast.

Very good hotel, if you need to stay at the airport very good location very convenient, easy access with CDGVal to RER, SNCF, TGV with CDGVal terminal 2.Good service.I will stay again if need it.

"Exceptional Service"

I stayed over night at the CDG Novotel on my way back from a five-week trip to France and Italy. My bags had not made it to Paris with me so I was living out of my computer bag. The clerk at the desk was extremely helpful, even calling around for me to find a Laduree store open in the airport. The room was clean and very comfortable and the restaurant was very good. For a one-night stay at the airport there are cheaper options, like the Ibis just across the concourse from the Novotel. I have stayed there too and it could be argued that the increased level of comfort and service is not worth the difference in price. In thiscase I would disagree, it is worth the extra 30 euros to get better service and comfort, even for one night at the airport.
