Novotel Ipswich Centre hotel

"Excellent service"

We stayed with three young children and the hotel could not have been better. The service was excellent - the receptionist and the breakfast staff were great with the children and couldn't have looked after us better. The room was large, comfortable and clean.

"Prty In Ipswitch"

The visit was to celerbtate my sisters 70th Birthday. She had selected the hotel for the event. There where a number of the family and friends stoping at the hotel.First impressions where very good, hotel reception was large and very clean. There was a small childrens play area containing Play station, Apple computer and low seats with reading books and other toys. Greeting from reception was excellent and quick.Room was clean, well decorated, unusual was the seperate tolet and shower room, which was good, both were spotless. Tv and other fixtures were of good quality. Only slight complaint was the mattress topper which was a memory foam type, always fancied this, now would not entertain, (this is persoal choice).Party and meal at event was provided by the hotel, and was excellent, staff were tentive and we couldn't have asked for better. Superb!!!!Breakfast was again excellent choice was superb, ht food was brilliant, again staff were brilliant, helpful to the last.If this is the greeting, quality and staff treatment then I would always select Novatel to stop at! I would however definately stop again and recommend this hotel..

Clean ,comfortable , very near the city center.Good value for money.I have been staying in this hotel the last 3 years and this was my third stay.I have brought my family this time and we were all very happy.Will recommend anybody visiting Ipswich.

"Novotel Ipswich"

Great place to stay.Check-in was very straightforward, rooms are clean and well maintained.Bed was comfortable and shower facilities are good.Parking on site is reasonably priced for a town centre spot.Check-out was straightforward too, especially as I was leaving at 0530.I didn't eat or drink here during this stay, but I have in the past and food quality is high.

"Great for football"

Have stayed in this hotel several times now, very central for town centre and Portman Road Football club.our room was very spacious and clean with lovely bathroom and power shower. excellent breakfast in the morning just what you need to start the day very good value for money

"Night away"

Got a great deal on a executive room for my partner and I. Check in was speedy and pleasant. Room was lovely and clean. Only a couple of minor niggles. Only 1 set of bath robes and sleepers and yes we had the coffee machine but very little milk. Movie channels where not working either. I know that seems petty but when your paying for a particular service and upgrade you expect the best. Anyway had a lovely sleep and a really great stay so these minor points are not s important. Staff are very attentive and make you feel welcome. Would stay again.

"Excellent Hotel"

This was one of the best accor hotels in which we have stopped, and we use accor a great deal both for business and pleasure. Staff both friendly and efficient. Rooms very clean and tidy. Reception was quick and efficient

"Good hotel, helpful staff, good position"

This hotel is very close to the town centre and to the quayside which is ver pleasant on a summers evening. The rooms are large , clean and have good working space. All the staff were pleasant and helpfulI managed to get a very good rate for my stay and so it is worth checking this out as the rate can be higher than most business allowances.

"Excellent hotel for visiting Ipswich"

Excellent hotel - welcoming staff - lovely room - great breakfast. 5 minute walk into centre of town. Similar time to walk to up and coming waterfront area. Watch out for £6 charge for parking in Novotel car park overnight.

"Pleasant Stay and A-Club Points"

Friendly staff made us very welcome. Even though it was a Saturday night and there was a party at the hotel, the music stopped at midnight and it was very quiet.Delicious breakfast. Only problem we had was the parking.

"Noveotel, Ipswich"

Great location, near to the newly developed waterfront and the town centre. We stayed for 3 nights in a standard room, the room was comfortable, clean and more luxurious than we would have expected for the price. The front of house/bar staff were very polite and attentive. Our first stay in a Novotel, we will certainly be staying again. Only downside was you had to pay to park as a guest (£6 per night)

"Birthday get-away"

The service was excellent, the waiter made us feel welcome. The food was wonderful, complements to the chef. The room was spacious, though a touch cold. The view out of the window was less flatering. Overall we had a good experience at the hotel.

"Christmas sejour at Novotel"

We used the Novotel Ipswich pretty much as an overflow to celebrate christmas with our family in Ioswich, so we didn't use the breakfast and other facilities.The refurbished rooms are of a very high standard usually more expected from Mercure, Novotel's upmarket cousin.The only down side was parking charges, which I have never before been asked for by any hotel in the Accorhotels group.
