"2 nights with friends"

I have stayed in Novotel hotels before in France and I must say this one was the best one yet. Our fiends who were new to Novotel were as equally impressed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were excelent and clean. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was very good, nice to have dried eggs, none of the others have had them before.It was handy to have the shuttle bus to go into the beautiful town of Maastricht and leave the car at the hotel.

Good standard accommodation, a little tricky to get to as a result of major longterm roadworks near the Hotel

Friendly staff, clean room, and no noise despite the fact we were just beside major roadworks. Breakfast very good and set us up for the day. Access to the hotel by car difficult because of roadworks. Seems like a family friendly hotel with a play area for children with real toys!

My stay was disappointing:the availability of staff in the bar and the restaurant was no existantthe waitress took down and delivered the wrong orderthe plug in the room basin did not workthe TV controls were broken

A comfortable business hotel, close to the motorway and Ceramique district in Maastricht. Free parking and shuttle bus to the city centre are a bonus. Comfortable queen size bed with a separate sofa in the room.

A hotel in the suburbs of Maastricht - too far to walk into the city centre. The hotel does provide a shuttle bus into the city but not back again. Taxi card provided to phone a taxi but public phones are difficult to find. The no. 4 bus from opposite the town hall goes to near the Novotel at a cost of Euro 2.50 per adult.On Monday the majority of shops do not open until 1pm - we went on a Monday morning!Hotel has a policy of 2 children under the age of 16 stay free with 2 adults - can be very noisy with screaming kids. Open plan reception, bar and restaurant so no escaping the kids.

Were visting Maastrcht to attend the Andre Rieu concert,chose the Novotel for our 1st night as it gave us good value at a location that we thought easily found.On both counts it fitted the bill very well, & had we known better we might hace selected for our 2nd night We had a meal on our arrival which was lateish , it was failrly good if slightly expensive for what we had . there was a good spread for the breakfast buffet.All in all the hotel served us well for the purp[ose we had chosen

Thumbs Up! Very good rooms and great breakfast. We slept well and our daughter too, which is saying a lot: she does not sleep well usually outside our own home. There were things for our daughter to do outdoors, and the bus to the rail station/ centrum are quite well-managed, and well-used. You can easily walk to the nearest bus stop and get a ride within 10 min.Thumbs-down: Our impression was jarred by two things:1) the receptionist had to be asked for free Wifi password. She offered it to others while signing in, and did not do that to me, which was very strange. Once asked (I saw other guests being offered), she immediately handed it over. 2) We asked room to be vacuumed, since our daughter spilled seeds on the carpet. Even after assuring of a cleanup, no one came and cleaned the room. The carpet appeared quite filthy when we left.
