On our first trip to France with out 3 year old daughter we opted to break the journey with an overnight stay in Alencon, what a great choice. This is a lovely small town with much character and the Ibis hotel was in the perfect location. The hotel was value for money, the room was clean and practical and the staff a delight. I would definately recommend this hotel.

My husband and I used this hotel as a 'stop-over' on the way to La Rochelle. It was easy to find and the old parts of Alencon were lovely. The room was small, but clean, pleasant and comfy. Breakfast the next morning was fine. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. There was parking behind the hotel. We would use this hotel again.

My wife and I usually stay at Ibis Alencon when we journey to the UK. This year we have stayed on the 18th of July and 30th July on our return journey. We have always found the accommodation most acceptable and the welcome warm and friendly. The accommodation on our return journey was a little cramped.

Was dissapointed with this Ibis. We had room 117 which was no bigger than one found in an Etap. The hotel doesn't have a restraurant, which on Sunday and Monday can prove a nuisance.Quite a contrast to the Ibis in Le Havre which on the basis of Alencon is Value for money.

As a repeat customer of IBIS Alencon for the past fifteen years it is good to see that the friendly ambience that defines this hotel remains undiminished. Excellent customer focused staff remain the hotel's greatest asset.

Altough the room was rather on the small side (not unusual in France) it was clean.Breakfast not good value for £8.00 just stale bread and cheese.Central location although Alencon seemed rather down at heel. Recption staff very warm and efficient.
