The good view of the hotel have a problem if you have a car. There is no private parking in the hotel.

I reserved a room at Mercure Nice Marche aux Fleurs, but because of technical reasons we had to stay in a sea side view room at Mercure Nice Promenade des Anglais. But we were very very lucky. Very nice view from window to the coast, location is also very nice.

Pleasant hotel and helpful mutilingual staff. Room was immaculate, but a bit small. Take advantage of public transport when visiting Nice, as we made the mistake of hiring a car. Overnight parking in the underground car parks was expensive and there was no alternative parking.

The level of welcome and service was disgraceful. I needed to arrive one day earlier than planned. Couyld not get the same rate, even thought there was plenty of room in the hotel.On arrival I was told that for the part of my stay I had reserved, that I had not booked breakfast. I had received an email to tell me that I had paid for breakfast. The member of staff showed me their Credit Card receipt that showed me I had not paid for breakfast even though I had an email to say that I had paid.The attitude from the staff was disgraceful. He was try ing to insist it was my fault and to make me feel that I had done something wrong.All he needed to say was "I apologise, but we have a problem with our internal systems. Even though you have an email that says you have paid for breakfast, this amount has not been taken from your Credit Card. I apologise for the confusion"

Nice is a wonderful mix of seaside, port and traditional shops and restaurants, so this Hotel is well placed as the base to enjoy all these characteristics. It is on the seafront but does not have the traffic of the Promenade de Anglais. It is clean and friendly and just the job for a relaxing break.

I stayed in this hotel in the start of September, 2011. Great location! and nice personnel. However the following case was with me. The superior room with sea view was booked via Accor website in the start of August with 100% pre-payment. When I arrived to the hotel reception employees said me that my accommodation in booked (and please note! prepaid) room with sea view is not possible for me during 3 nights and I should change the room. Of course I asked why? The response was yes, we know, it is problem, but we fully booked and your room was sold, we will try to solve this problem and etc. Finally my room was not changed, I occupied the room primary booked. But I still have disagreeable feeling about the hotel.

It is a really nice small hotel with a great location close to the beach and the old town. Very friendly staff and nice rooms. I will stay here again if possible and a truly recommend this hotel to people looking for a great value for money in Nice.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by our stay at this hotel. The location was great as it is directly across from public and private parts of the beach. You get 1€ off the price of a beach chair and umbrella at Opera Plague. The market is just behind the hotel too but I never found it to be loud at all. We had a really cute room with 2 floors, the bathroom and a mini living room on the bottom floor with stairs leading to the bedroom. Everything was really clean here and the service was almost perfect.

Very good hotel, direct on the flower-market and the promenade anglais. Doublebed was very comfortable; double windows reduce noise very good; we had a balcon to the sea and to the promenade: there was busy traffic (cars, scooters, bikes and roller blades) the whole night.Do not came too late to breakfast, you'll get no bread nor coffee instead.

Very hand for the Jazz festival where I was working, & a tram ride to the station, very helpful staff, nice breakfast. all night bar. Close to the old town and the flower market and lots of good places to eat.

Lovely hotel with beautifully dressed rooms. Room a little bit small for a long stay but would definitely go back. Staff very friendly and very helpful. There is no lift so it would be nice to have some more formal help to take luggage to the room (it didn't feel right as a woman letting the female receptionist carry my bags!).

Initial positive impressions during booking process were soon diminished on arrival. We have stayed in Accor hotels on business over the last ten years and were completely surpised and disappointed by the service offered by Hotel Mercure.

What a great position , across the road from the beach and around the corner from the main town. Fantastic spot. , the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was nice if on the small side , but hey you only sleep in there, the breakfast not so great but once again it's not a big problem when you are so close to everything. We really enjoyed our time at the Mecure Nice Marche Aux Fleurs.
