"A Stylish, Well-Run Hotel"

This hotel is a truly great value: we had a well-appointed, comfortable suite at a great price. The bedroom was perfect for a good night's sleep: comfortable beds, quiet room. Over-sized, lovely bathroom. Excellent, helpful staff. Great breakfasts.

During my stay I had several personal issues that needed to be attended to. Each issue was attended to with professionalism, courtesy & no delay. This, along with the fact that it is a very comfortable, conveniently located & aesthectically appealing hotel, made for a Great Stay!

Fantastic stay. Excellent location just in front of shopping mall. Room clean and quiet. Staff very attentive. Fast internet connection. Bed extremely confortable. Delicious breakfast. Expensive but worthwhile. I would return for mynext stay in Los Angeles

The service provided in this hotel is excellent. Staff is proactive and always trying to make your stay great.State of the art cocktails at the bar! don't miss them. Rooms are cosy and bathroom has the required amenities (and Orange verte by Hermès as soap)

"My stay in LUXURY HOTEL!!"

First day when I arrived, at 5:00pm, there was no water and I needed to take my medicine, so as soon as I arrived, I had to leave the hotel to find water and ofcourse I went to the market, bought water, ate dinner outside the and then came back to my room. Next day onwards there were 2 water bottles, which I never needed to use.In Luxury hotel I never expected that.PG

"The best bed I've ever slept in"

I decided to spoil myself on a recent trip to Los Angeles, by staying at Sofitel. Normally I stay near the airport. I think I'm hooked! The room was superb, and extremely comfortable. I have a fantastic, super-expensive mattress at home....but this bed was the closest thing to heaven I've ever slept in. The staff were all incredibly helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them, and they made me feel cared for and welcome. I was slightly disappointed in the food in both the room service and the restaurant. It wasn't quite the standard or range that my taste buds have become accustomed to in Australia - I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again. in the end I managed to discover a fantastic Japanese cafe just a block's walk away (across the main intersection and up past the fuel station by one block)....and I ate there. That was great if you like good Japanese food and a sushi bar. Location wise - I was told it was about 2 to 3 miles (a short cab ride) to the major tourist areas like Rodeo Drive. I didn't end up making it there, due to work commitments. I did however pop across the road to the Beverley Centre, but that was just one enormous shopping mall....noisy and crowded being so close to Xmas....so I didn't spend much time there. Would I stay at the Sofitel again? Absolutely - I love to stay in beautiful hotels, and this was right up there with the best.

"Excellent hotel, centrally located, great gym and spa"

Jillian handed the check-in most examplary. Although my booking was not received in the system yet, she just took my confirmation and fixed everything on the spot. She was very courteous and made me feel welcome in a gentile manner. The hotel room was not as "shiny" as some newer developments like the SLS, but correct in all aspects. The gym was very good, and I enjoyed using the steam bath and resting areas for free after a work-out. The breakfast was also good, although I would have preferred a European style breakfast buffet. Parking is expensive as at most centrally located hotels in LA at 33 dollars, but the rate does include in and out privileges. All in all I prefer this hotel over SLS, but if you love bling bling then SLS is the better choice.

"Lovely hotel, would stay again"

Great location and great room size. Can definitely recommend. We found the staff friendly and obliging, and everything clean and comfortable. Breakfasts excellent, a little pricey perhaps, but that might just be LA. We found a cheaper option around the corner after a couple of days. My 18 year old son loved the gym - excellent facility.

We were greeted in such a friendly way by all lobby, reception and hotel staff, that I thought I was coming home! Thank you!The porters were also kind to us, nothing was too much trouble. It was late evening that we arrived after a long flight and we were very tired, with little to no energy left. To be helped so much was a great experience. Our bedroom was so good!!! Views of Beverley Hills all lit up and the bed .. large, firm - with a soft sinking into feathers it seemed and wonderful pillows and covers. We slept well! Our late check out of 4pm because we're Accor partners just made it so much better. I also enjoyed a swim and a pedicure while there, a truly lovely experience before another 13 hour flight home. Thank you Sofitel, thank you!
