"Good quality Novotel"

Exellent position, close to Bercy Station and ten minute walk from Gare du Lyon, this Novotel keeps up the standard expected. Friendly staff and the room perfectly adequate for a one night stay. Busy breakfast room and we were all treated to a lesson in Italian for 20 minutes whilst the italian gentleman at the next table decided to conduct his business in a very loud voice. Pity there isn't a no phone poicy in the restaurant although most people are polite enough to move to a private area when making and receiving calls.

Bercy is a fantastic place to stay. Calm and quiet. The metro services are very easy to buy tickets and travel to any place into Paris. The hotel is very friendly and well prepared to meet the needs of your clients.

We have stayed at this hotel regularly over the past 25 years and have seen the surroundings improove from very run down to a pleasant area to stay. The park at the front door is great to get away from the husstle of Paris. Staff in general is very pleasant except for some of the restaurant staff. Beakfast could be better and is inferior compared to other Novotels. The rooms are well appointed and very clean - standard Novotel good quality. The lunch meals were not value for money, fish (Cod) having been cooked dry, meat tough and not plentyful. Between lunch and dinner there is a very small selection of food available served in plastic containers at crockery prices- shame on Novotel! Where has the former Novotel noon to midnight grill gone to?

Good location: quiet environment, spacious and close to metroSafe parking place, Abundant breakfast, Rather small rooms that need some refurbishment: old carpet and only half of the room has nice wall paper, rest is some old fashioned plaster work. Also the halls can use a fresher design. Bathroom is clean and well equipped.View management response »

"Very good hotel"

Very good property, excellent service. Breakfast was excellent too (as is the case with most of the Novotels I've stayed in). If unlucky, you might get caught by noisy youngsters coming out of the sports stadium next door, sometimes well into the night.

Small rooms if sleeping chlidren in the sofa bed wich is good quality. No noise from street. Quiet area. Bercy metro station is only 2 minutes walk, 10 minutes ride to Madeleine, 15 to Eiffel Tower. Good breakfast. Don't expect any employee to smile at you.

The staff is unfriendly... the rest is average. I am used to a better service in other Novotel hotels (e.g. Kuala Lumpur recently)
