"Room is nice, but it is a little far away from the train station....."
23rd February 2013, Sonia_Wang, Taipei
The room is very clean and comforable. The stuff in the front desk also was very nice. There are some restaurants near the hotel, which the price is very fair. The only thing I concern is-- It is actually a little far away from the train station.......

"IBIS MILANO CENTRAL"
21st February 2013, shawnbuck1, Sutton, United Kingdom
My second visit to this recently refurbished hotel. The Ibis is in a good central location in Milano, with direct (1920s vintage!) tram links to both Centrale and Cadorna stations for the express trains to Malpensa Airport. The staff are friendly, efficient and very smartly presented (very Italian!). There's a 'funky' bar and lounge area in a contemporary style on ground floor. Rooms are clean and modern with very comfy beds complete with mattress 'toppers' and cosy duvets. My room was on the 6th floor, and there was virtually no traffic noise at night, even though I slept with the window open. The only negative point was a faint whiff of drains in the bathroom. This may have been as a result of the room not having been used for a while. All in all though; a good budget option for anyone spending a few days on business or for a leisure weekend. Would definitely stay there again.

"stay in Milano"
19th February 2013, leonid_kibarov, Limassol, Cyprus
Accor hotels are my preferred network for business or leisure travel, value for the money. Laundry service, however, takes unreasonably long time; my shirt left for laundry was not ready after two days and I had to check out still not received it.Otherwise usual good service and nice crew.

"A good value hotel well located"
1st February 2013, jerryatrick7, London, United Kingdom
The Ibis is clean and pleasant. The bedrooms are a touch small and tend to be a bit hot, which is difficult to control but the hotel represents excellent value and is reasonably close to the centre of Milan.
"Best value in Milan"
31st January 2013, Belvedere47, Trieste
The airy lobby round the green courtyard sets the tone of the hotel, one of light touch and smoothness and no ostentation. Spotlessly clean, the rooms recently renovated, the service always attentive without fuss, invariably helpful without display, the hotel under its current management is absolutely the best value in Milan.
"Nice location as long as you use the subway"
30th January 2013, vadermc, Newark, Delaware, USA
The room was a bit small, as could be expected in the city. The hotel location was nice if you needed to catch a train somewhere. It was close enough to walk to the train station in about 20 minutes. Downtown and the Duomo were a decent hike (about 40 mintues), but there is a subway station close by that will get you there in about 10min. There is a really nice park to walk/run in nearby which is a nice break from the city atmosphere. The hotel restaurant is nothing to be blow away by, but the prices are low to moderate and the food was good enough. Breakfast was good, but got crowded later in the morning (around 8:30 to 9:00). Expect a more traditional italian breakfast to be offered, no bacon or eggs (similar to many hotels).
