Novotel Toronto Centre: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Location is excellent!!!"

21st May 2012, IvoneBonominiLuna

Everything is good, mainly the location near everything... shops, restaurants, railway station and attractions. I would like to suggest they could provide two options of breakfast... perhaps one for not too hungers guests for a cheaper price. I will appreciate that!

Novotel Toronto Centre: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Wonderful City, Fantastic Night"

24th March 2012, Maryknoll, NY

Want to enjoy your time in Toronto? Then stop in at Novotel Toronto Centre. After a busy time at work and before going home I dropped in at Novotel's City Centre Hotel for a day. It is located within walking distance of many places of interest in the city. Not five minutes away is the Hockey Hall of Fame. The Distillery District is a little further off the path but well worth the trip. After a day of walking, it was nice to come back to a place you can enjoy. The accomodations were above par. The bed was spacious and everything was clean. The lounge downstairs was roomy and well stocked and very pleasant to have a drink in before dining. The menu at the Restaurant was large enough to give you plenty of choices but not so big that you would not get a well prepared dish made just for you. The soups were out of this world and the entree was large enough to fill you without being to much. The courtesy and professionalism of the staff was of the highest level. You can not go wrong with a stay there.

Novotel Toronto Centre: 2.0 out of 5 stars "Not to the usual Accor Standards"

1st February 2012, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Sorry, but this was worst Novotel stay since I’ve joined the A-Club. I normally always have a good experience during my stays. However, this experience was not up to your own standards. Hot water problems that did not get addressed until after our third cold shower and no help obtaining a taxi. I was stunned when I was directed to walk down the street and see what comes by. I was also not impressed by the mangers resolution, but he did his best. Perhaps your senior management does not have policies like the Hilton’s 100 percent satisfaction.

Novotel Toronto Centre: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Pleasant Weekend in Toronto"

19th January 2012, East Aurora, New York, USA

Quality accomodations and friendly, considerate staff. Convenient downtown location also a plus. Easy walk to Air Canada Center.I would prefer trip advisor allow shorter reviews - as a botton line person, a 200 character minimum is a bit much.

Novotel Toronto Centre: 5.0 out of 5 stars "August in Toronto"

18th September 2011, Adelaide, Australia

hotel is good. long way from airport and other side of town to Falls if you wish to take the trip. Take a bus tour to Niagra falls and they pick you up and drop you back at the Novotel . Hotel is walking distance to other resteraunts shops CN tower and markets.

Novotel Toronto Centre: 5.0 out of 5 stars "A good experience"

27th July 2011, timandjulie1076977, Datchworth, United Kingdom

Well up to Novotel Standard, a good clean hotel, friendly staff. In an area with good restaurants and easy walk to tourist sites. The construction works at the end of the road were a minor irritation that made getting there a bit difficult-some signage might be sensible.

Novotel Toronto Centre: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Spacious room"

24th May 2011, Sydney

Found our room to be very spacious, clean and comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant in the hotel was one of our best meals in Toronto with reasonable pricing (about $15 for a main). Only problem is the Airport Express does not drop off/pick up at this hotel.

Novotel Toronto Centre: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Where Business met Pleasure"

23rd May 2011, Toronto

The Novotel on the Esplanade in Downtown Toronto is well located to many amenities and offers fine, well appointed rooms in a secure environment. the gym facilities are great, as is the pool. The restaurant is excellent if a little pricey, but this is more than made up for by the location where there are many of Toronto's finest restaurants and cultural venues.

Novotel Toronto Centre: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Toronto on the Esplanade"

22nd April 2011, Buffalo NY

We arrived just after 3pm published check in time. Told we were going to get a nice room on the 9th floor but we were given a room on the third floor instead because it was ready. Not much of a view but the room was very nice. Very comfortable king size bed and well appointed bath were a plus. The parking was convenient but pricey (over $25 a day) Was a great location for our purposes-going to the NBA game at Air Canada Center was a ten minute walk. Just minutes from some fun bars, The Belgium Bier Market and an Irish Bar were right across the street as well as other restaurants within minutes. We had dinner at the Wine Bar just around the corner. Breakfast was included with our deal. The buffet had everything from Eggs Benedict to cereal, fruit, juices and a wonderful selection of baked goods from breads to pastries to muffins. Our rate less than $150 with taxes included but not parking was excellent and made this a great value for Toronto.

Novotel Toronto Centre: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Toronto March 11"

28th March 2011, aberdeen

I would have stayed the weekend also if the prices hadn't increased so much from the mid week pricing structure.Disappointed that the A-Club Favourite guest programme customers do not feel as valued as in Europe.

Novotel Toronto Centre: 2.0 out of 5 stars "Seriously disappointing!"

28th December 2010, Opio, France

Stay here only if location is more important to you than comfort or SLEEP.There is a 3cm gap under the door of each and every room in this hotel. Try sleeping when you hear the movements and conversations of every person going through the corridor. When I spoke to the desk manager (after I was ALLOWED contact with her - the desk staff do an amazing job of running interference) I was told that this was normal and that I should put towels down at the base of the door if it bothered me.The rubbish hadn't been cleared from the room by housekeeping and I'm unsure if the bath had been cleaned and not well rinsed or not cleaned as there was still other people's hair remaining. The bed was big, but not terribly confortable. All in all, I had a better stay at the Quality Inn when I stayed in Calgary a few days earlier and they don't even claim to approach the standard that this Novotel claims to offer.Disappointing.
