"One night stay"

We had a pleasant stay in Ibis St. Lo hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed a nice breakfast.The location is in a business park which would not encourage one to take an evening stroll from the hotel . The hotel itself was very quiet and we had a good night's sleep. The room was nicely decorated in similar style to the other Ibis hotels which we stayed in during our trip to France.

My wife and I stayed here as we had a morning ferry to catch from Cherbourg. Of all the Ibis hotels we have stayed in so far, this is our least favourite. It is located in a not very attractive industrial area on the edge of the town. As we had to be away early in the morning we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. The meal was expensive in relatation to the portion size and quality. The following morning at breakfast there was a buffet but this did not contain the usual Ibis choice. Indeed, my wife asked if there was more prepared fresh fruit to which she was told that it had all gone!
"Horrendous journey but very warm welcome"

Arrived at the hotel in the early hours, a lot later than expected due to the snow. We received a very warm welcome and a much needed cup of tea. Bed was very comfy, room clean. Service was excellent.Our only problem was getting up the slope to the hotel in the snow. Not that there was much of a slope, but the weather conditions made it extremely difficult, thankfully there was another way around.Would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone.
