"Good but pricey"

Good but pricey despite online booking and corporate fidelity card.The car park was in fact public car park, separate from the hotel.Staff first rate, very friendly & smiling.

Everything was fine. Self service breakfeast was excellent. Access into Lille centre required attention to one way system, but hotel signposted near centre. Underground parking secure and 2 minutes from hotel.

We had thought the hotel was on grand place but its on a side street about 5/10 minutes away. Service very good, very friendly and helpful staff, breakfast served in the room up to 12am. The toilet is seperate from the bathroom which is a bit inconvenient. Overall however it is a pleasant place to stay, good size room, very quiet, it seemed there were very few guests actually. I would stay there again but it is I feel slightly overpriced in terms of its location.

Close to the Grand Place. Parking facility nearby 11 euro's for 24 hrs. We stayed in room 204 frontroom lot off traffic in the mainstreet. A bit noisy. Mini bar, clean bathroom with blowdryer, towels.

Well, it started out by four French police harassing us the minute we walked off the train. They searched all of our belongings, simply because we were American.Immediately exiting the train station, we were hounded by people wanting to sell us drugs. None of the taxi drivers could speak any English, so we had to find the hotel ourselves. After first ending up at the wrong Novotel, we managed to find the right one, which was about 2 miles away from where were at.Most of the hotel staff were very helpful, but some could not understand even basic words in English, which made it difficult to manage our stay.On the first night of our visit to Lille, a local attempted to mug me. He grabbed my arm, tried to trip me, grabbed my phone, and I was lucky to make it out of the situation without any physical damage to myself. The phone screen is now broken.We cut our stay short, and were very happy to get out of that city. The hotel was pretty good, although the shower was totally clogged. The bed was comfortable enough.
