"Good location and quality hotel"

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Toulouse. It was conveniently located for the metro which meant almost everything in Toulouse was easily accessible. The reception staff and cleaning staff at the hotel were friendly and the breakfast was of a really high standard. The main criticism of the rooms was that there was very little space for storing clothes, but generally we were happy with the hotel and would stay there again.

Everything is ok. The room is very quite. The restaurant is quite good. Juste a small problem with the main door at the hall of the hotel. That door has a big problem with its sensor system and it is not repaired during my 3 days trip.

We stay in this hotel for many years. Especially when we are in transit (by car) from Holland to Spain. Novotel Compans Caffarelli is easily accessible from the high way and has an indoor parking. Usually we stay here just for one night and take a family room (queensize bed with sofa) for a reasonable price. Sometimes breakfast is included. Novotel Compans Caffarelli is just like the other Novotels: functional and comfortable.We mostly have our diner outside the hotel although in the evening the neighborhood is very quiet there are some local restaurants within walking distance. Last time we took the metro (one day pass for 4 of us costs only 5 euro, unbelievable!!) to the centre 'Jean-Jaures' (just 2 stops away) and have our diner at restaurant Le Bon Vivre. This restaurant has duck as speciality and was recommended by the reception of Novotel and it was a very good tip! Do you know that Toulouse is famouse for its duck dishes?!

The room is very comfortable and clean. The rececptionist were attentive and polite. But unfortunately, I had a too bad moment in the bar. I didn`t like the bar service. The staff was extremely rude and unpleasant. I wouldn`t like to come back in this hotel.

This hotel is convenient for the airport shuttle bus and the metro system although they could do with clearer directions on the website from the bus stop/metro station. We ended up asking at the Mercure hotel nearby and they looked as if we weren't the first to ask the way! The hotel was clean and comfortable with everything one could need. There is a lovely shady park at the back of the hotel which provided a great setting. The pool was excellent. In particular, the staff were attentive and helpful. Toulouse is an interesting city with plenty to do. It was exceptionally hot when we were there so we contented ourselves with one trip into the city each day and a lot of relaxing round the pool. Recommend the canal cruises and the 'little train' was useful for getting to know the city centre. We took a train from Toulouse to Carcassone which took about an hour and was a lovely trip.

Parking available in the centre of Toulouse- not easy to park in as tight, but solved a problem of security and where to park in a city centre. Very helpful staff, suggestion for eateries etc and how to get from A to B. Still have smoking rooms available but no ashtray provided???? so out of the window. :)Quiet location with restaurants, supermarkets and good open air facilities very close by, parks and space for children to play.Good weekend deal and easy access to airport and motorways.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room very clean and comfortable. Room service quick and on time. It was a quick taxi ride from the train station and the next morning when needing to get to the airport the bus stop was a short walk away.
