Family split on different floors.

Centrally located but I booked 2 rooms through the family offer with the exception that they would be adjoining rooms only to find out on arrival that not only were they not adjoining but they were on different floors. Then I was charged for kids breakfast when the offer said that you only pay for Adults.

I was giving a room next to the lift, I couldn’t sleep properly because all the noise from the lift was coming into the room and everyone talking even. I went to ask if we could move the day after and the receptionist who didn’t speak any English and wasn’t really helpful refused to moved me even when I highlighted I was platinum then she wanted me paid for upgrade as she said I only paid for the cheapest rate and that is What I got. Also welcome drink was only for 1 person and we were two never happened to me before.

Because of the area of this kind of room, it is cheaper than the standard room. As information, at Ibis hotel the upgrade is not available as benefits with the loyalty card, even if we have superior type of room in the hotel. This the reason why she asked you to pay the supplement for the standard room that at least she offers you. Nevertheless the hotel is situated in the center of Epernay, I've passed there a good stay: quiet nights, no noise at the floor.

Overall very good. This was our 4th stay at this hotel. What makes this hotel is the brilliant ,helpful staff always ready to help you . As usual all good ..minor gripe as usual with most hotels …double room and only one chair 😮‍💨. But this was sorted by the brilliant receptionist. Thank you 🤩 Another gripe is that the towels aren’t very good ..they are really thin and not very good at drying ! And please can someone please remove the brown paint on the room walls and ceiling ! This makes the rooms very dark and depressing. But we did enjoy are 7 night stay and sorry for the little negatives but when staying for 7 nights they start to annoy
