"average Ibis"
17th April 2012, EricTroon, Troon
At the time of our stay the Town square was being relaid which cuased noise from 07:30 until 17:00 each day. the Car park is underground and costs circa 6 euros a day. Beware if you want to leave before 08:00 it is not manned and exiting can be a problem. The hotel is well located and the staff are helpful. One of the best continental breakfasts in France and well worth 9 Euros.the hotel soundproofing is poor and if you want a good nights sleep ask for a room well away from the lift.
"Great location & value for money"
12th April 2012
We stayed here during the easter weekend. We picked Epernay for the central location in the Champagne region. This hotel is in the very hart of epernay, and really good value for money. The rooms are tiny, but the bed and bathroom are clean. We picked this over a chambre d'hotes because we wanted a certain guarantee on the cleansiness, plus we had a baby with us and did not want to worry if she cried.
"Great location, good quality-price relation"
12th April 2012, ACMLeuven_Belgium, Leuven, Belgium
A bit impersonal but good and clean hotel. The location couldn't be better and altough you are in the very center of Epernay, it is very quiet at night. We even slept with the window opened. Good price-quality relation. Only finding a parking spot is not always easy and our bath oom didn't include a toilet brush. The hallways of the hotel look very old and are a bit smelly.
"Service, location and friendly hosts"

I definitely repeat and suggest anyone to stay at this hotel, they live up to the values to the company and those values are displayed for us to see, great work everyone!
"Very comfortable stay"
26th February 2012, Buffalo, New York, USA
Traveled to Epernay and the Champagne Region during the offseason in February and was more than pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and accodating the village of Epernay and surrounding areas was. The hotel is perfectly situated to walk and take in the sites of the village. The front desk staff was very helpful and made our short stay even more pleasant and special.
"Great location but unpleasant staff and too hot in room"
10th February 2012, P_Larua, Lancashire, UK
Stayed for one night. The person who checked us in and also took our drinks order at night was unpleasant and only just civil. This despite the fact that one person in our party speaks fluent French, having lived in the country for a while. At night the room was too hot even though we had turned the heating to the lowest setting and the temperature outside was -5.I would only recommend the hotel because of the location and cleanliness.
"Stopover break"
24th January 2012, Bath, United Kingdom
Excellent central location with reasonably secure parking underground. Rooms comfortable, clean & quiet. Excellent buffet breakfast - plenty of choice with option to take a coffee with you when you leave for your onward journey. Staff friendly & helpful - easy check-in & check-out arrangements. Plenty of restaurants/bars within easy walk & Champagne Houses/Tasting Rooms to visit.
"our stay in epernay"
7th October 2011, Derby, United Kingdom
we had a nice day in epernay, hotel good, brekky good choice..no restaurant as such but can get a snack.the only downside was the square at the back entrance was being dug up and re-furbished and we remembered from 10 years ago it was a lovely square, but hey that's no-one's fault.hotel good central position, so can walk all round ..worth taking a tour in the little train..champagne house are a must,we went around 2 last time..
"In need of refurbishing"
5th October 2011, Helmond, The Netherlands
We stayed at the hotel during a refurbishing period of the Place des Arcades. This was very noisy in the morning the workers started at 7:00. Although at the reception there was a notice that they should not start before 8:30 with noisy activities. We were not informed of the acitivities in front of the Hotel when making our reservation. The room was very small, and it is clearly visible that at the edges of the room there was accumulated dust from a few weeks at least. The doos close very loud, and this is clearly audible when another guest closes his front door. The sound from the corridor is very apparent in the rooms. The room was badly ventilated, although the weather was quite nice it becomes very hot quickly in the room. Besides that the room lacks a minibar. The bed itself was very hard and not very comfortable to sleep in.The bathroom was small and takes up a big part of the room. The toilet was even partly broken and glued together.
"Champagne"
1st September 2011, Cambridge

"Perfect stay in Champagne for one night"
31st July 2011, Gothenburg
Good place for a night or two in Epernay if you stay longer rent a house (gite) instead. IBIS is IBS, just one towel you get what you pay for, but nothing extra. Reception is little but very effective and the staffs English is good and they are polite - not as the french always are!!!
"Good value standard Ibis"
23rd July 2011, Folkestone
Excellent central location. Would have been 5 stars but no air conditioning (public areas have aircon). Rooms standard Ibis, clean fresh and comfortable but no frills. Good continental breakfast but room service/bar food expensive (Croque Monsieur €9 ) - bar drinks reasonable. Staff extremely courteous and helpful. Pay car park round corner €8 for 20 hours - watch for this bizarre tariff. Convenient for all town restaurants and Avenue de Champagne.
"Excellent location"
14th July 2011, Epsom, UK
Hotel is in an excellent location, being in the town centre a short walk from the Avenue de Champagne. The only reasons that 5 star has not been given are that in summertime (we have stayed there 2 years running in June/July) the rooms are very warm even with the window fully open (there is no aircon) and with the window open it can get noisy at night if on the Arcades side of the hotel. It is a little overpriced, however, probably worth it for the excellent location. One thing to note is that the underground car park costs about 8.50 Euro for a night and the parking bays nearby are very restricted as most have been fenced off due to works in the square. The bays are pay and display until 7pm so overnight and Sunday is free if you can get a space. Le Cave a Champagne restaurant in Rue Gambetta has a good fixed price menu (18 Euro per head) but book beforehand, as we turned up on the night and were disappointed.
"Convenient, clean and good breakfast!"
21st June 2011, london
Clean hotel in convenient central location. Can be noisy on Sat am as the market sets up. Car park tricky to find , ask at reception for a map - look out for the slightly odd 23hour limit on hotel parking rate. Very good value breakfast - nice selection of bread, croissants etc, cheese, cold meats, fruit, youghurt...
"Pitstop"
8th June 2011, TamLeamingtonSpa, Leamington Spa, UK
This was only ever going to be a pit stop on our way through France so we were only expecting somewhere to lay our heads. I probably should have checked but there was no car park which was a bit of an issue but there was on street parking so not too bad. As this is a budget hotel it did everything I would expect but it lacked the extra touches you would get in a Premier Inn for example. Bed was hard and corridors were quite loud and echoed when people were opening doors. If you're just looking for a pit stop it fits the bill but if you want anything extra I'd look elsewhere.
"Great hotel"
22nd May 2011, naples Italy
great place to stay while visiting the champagne region of France. Great location, very quiet, and very well kept. Would definitely recommend. We had a very nice time here. Nit too far of a walk from anything, as epernay is not a very large town.
"Visit to Epernay"
27th April 2011, UK
If one islooking for a less expensive hotel to stay for a few days in Epernay, this is a good hotel worth considering in terms of its central location in Epernay and its room quality. I am particularly impressed by the room cleanliness and the king size bed with its firm mattress. The shower and toilet facilties are reasonably comfortable.
