Novotel Goteborg: 4.0 out of 5 stars "A peaceful hotel during business trip"

27th March 2012, Paris, France

Nice hotel, looks like a castle, with a great view, a little bit far from the center but still ok.I was there for business and stayed 3 nights. I booked a room at the last moment and got a promotion so I won't talk about the price that sounds fair for me.The room was quiet , the staff helpful and the restaurant very good. The wifi worked well. Not a lot of guests at that period, a bit weird sometimes to meet nobody anywhere in this huge hotel but anyway Gothenburg is not such a city to visit I've been told...

Novotel Goteborg: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Excellent hotel - beautiful building / location / room!"

30th August 2011, Bilthoven

This truly is a great hotel, the best Accorhotel I've been in so far. The hotel has a great view on the harbour and the cruiseships coming into the docks. The building itself is beautiful on the inside and the rooms are of very high quality. It was very refreshing to stay in such a nice hotel.

Novotel Goteborg: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Trip to Gothenburg"

15th August 2011, Östra Ämtervik

I like this hotel because it is easy to park and you can have a walk in the morning and it is quint and weary helpful staff. The rooms are good and lot of space. I know that is is not many days that are hot in Gothenburg but this time I was missing air condition. Ther is also a lot of history in the part of Gothenburg .

Novotel Goteborg: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Overall a satisfying experience but slooooow check-in"

19th July 2011, cowchaser, The Netherlands

Our stay didn't start very well since the check-in took ages. At first there was only one clerk available that went through endless discussions / conversations explanations with the persons at the counter. After 10 minutes or so a second clerk appeared which also went into an equally long conversation with the next person in line. So let's just say it was an extremely lengthy experience to just get the keys to our room. Other than that it was a pleasant stay with comfortable beds. Nice view of the waterfront from our room and plenty of big ships passing by. One more thing to remember, this is a child friendly hotel which in this case means you should be prepared for some noise and running around in the dining / breakfast area.

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast and a nice view ov the harbour and the Älvsborg Bridge. Tram to the center of the city.
