"Average with good features"

This is very much a standard Ibis hotel, but having said this there is no compromise on cleanliness and the service was good. This is the second time we have stayed here and feel the hotel is probably more than ready for some updating, in line with other hotels in the chain. The restaurant is rather dark and was very cramped at breakfast time. The public area downstairs could benefit from a refresh to give a clearer welcome to visitors.

This is a typical Ibis, situated in the centre of town. You know what you are getting with an Ibis and this one is no different. The restaurant was one of the better ones and the service was pretty decent too.

Stayed overnight on a Saturday. Found the hotel situated close to the town and well within walking distance of the old town and the Cathedral. We used the map of the town from the tourist office to find our way around and found it misleading so be prepared to walk a lot further than you expect! However, that is not the fault of the Hotel. We decided to eat in the hotel, as the heat was still staggeringly hot at 7pm. Had an excellent meal at a very reasonable price so it was a good choice and one I recommend if you have time and/or budget constraints. Our only criticisms are that the area seems a bit run down and appeared unsafe when we first arrived and parked the car. However, the local kids were having fun playing nearby until 10pm and nothing actually happened. But, my main gripe is that the lift failed at breakfast time just when we needed to bring our luggage down from the 4th floor and repack the car. Bearing in mind the number of rooms there is only one lift which clearly could not cope with a large coach party leaving just before us. Not the way I expected to leave the hotel and it spoilt what was a pleasant stay especially as the receptionist’s attitude was c’est la vie.

We needed a hotel in the centre of France to break the long journey from Perpignan to Calais. The was hotel close to the lovely historic centre of Bourges. A lovely place to stroll around after a long days drive.On arrival we found we had two adjoining rooms even though this was not guaranteed on the ebooking - just perfect with younger teenagers. Rooms were clean and very comfortable, very good value. Cold buffet breakfast plentiful.

We had an overnight stay and I could not fault this Ibis. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was idealjust a 10 minute walk into the centre. We would definately stay thereagain.

I pick this hotel by chance. as half way to our destination. i have told everybody this is a 10 star choice. not only is the hotel in the centre of town but the staff where exeptionaly helpful and the town is stunning.Food was above our expectations. thank you

Although the parking area was very busy, due to its location, near the centre we had an enjoyable stay.Staff very helpful, room very clean and quiet and a pleasant bar /restaurant to relax in during the evening.
