"Spartan service & room, good location"

Superb location for the tired business traveler - get of the train, eat a currywurst standing and climb into bed. But no Air-Con due to a sudden warm winter and the give-a-damn front desk says "open the window".

Great location, nice service, and the rooms are very clean. Only one thing I thank can be better is there's no Free W-LAN in the room, you have to pay 9 Euro for a day; But the W-LAN in the Lobby is free to use.

This hotel is ideally placed at Dusseldorf's central rail station to afford the perfect base for exploring the city (tram termini right outside) and other cities - speedy train connections at reasonable prices to Cologne, Dortmund, Bochum etc. Handy for the airport too with a frequent direct SLine train link (€2.40 single!!). A substantial breakfast choice, well apponted rooms with all amenities (though a small room safe, such as at Ibis Amsterdam Centraal for example would be useful), comfortable controllable heating (January is cold!) and spotless bathroom, shower, towels and linen. Notably quiet, even though city centre and on the station) and within easy reach of restaurants to suit all tastes. I have stayed before, and will do so again

Good location, arrived very late and made welcome. Breakfast was a good start to a long day. Would stay again. Local building works should soon be gone but did not cause any problem. Would stay again.

The room is too small for more than one person. 99 Euros per day without breakfast and wifi is expensive, 20 Euros for these is overcharge. Service is not friendly with non german speakers. No AC, do not go in the summer!

An excellent Hotel ,within the main Railway Station complex, most conveniently locatedwith direct train service from Dusseldorf Airport, and direct tram service to the Fair Grounds.As far as food is concerned, an enormous variety of Restaurants within the complex or within walking distance. The famous old part of Dusseldorf is also a convenient walk away.A true value-for-money hotel, which I strongly .recommend for both business and leisure travellers, with an excellent Breakfast to start the day.

The hotel is situated in very comfortable place: near main railway station of Dusseldorf. Room we stayed is nice,has all necessary facilities. Personal - friendly. Although check-in time is 15.00 we settled at 13.30

We stayed in twin room for just 1 night to catch an early flight out of Dusseldorf airport. Location is really great, right in the train station. Took us 5 mins in the morning to catch a train to the airport. Hotel is clean, fairly new, with TV, clean beds and a/c. It suited us perfect. Rooms are small but quiet andt they do the job really well. We booked in advance for 49 Euro through their website so as far as value goes, it cant be beat.

The hotel location is very convenient indeed, but there are other Accor hotels at walking distance from the train station. The service at the reception was not bad as such but it felt quite unpersonnal. The room was the standard room of Ibis hotels. No surprise. I must notice the cleaness of the room was excellent. The most disappointing was the fact no foreign TV channel (for instance TV5) was available, which is a bit surprizing in an Accor hotel. I would not recommend this hotel which is reasonably good and convenient to colleagues because I think there are better Accor hotels close by.

Parking is rather expensive, room is what you might expect from Ibis. To my taste the bed was rather hard, but that is normal in any hotel. Location very good. Lively neighborhood with the railway station as next door neighbor and the city in walking distance.

Ibis Hotels, in my opinion provide good service at low cost. I have stayed in this hotel several times, it is clean, tidy, fresh and bedrooms have been recently refloored and decorated. It is in a busy part of the town, near to well actually part of the rail station, you don't ever need to get wet when travelling by train and underground serving Dusseldorf is just under the hotel. Perfect for my needs and I don't think you'll be disappointed at the price. Its a 10 minute walk to the famous Ko but its a safe walk.

The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. Staff very friendly on reception desk.The breakfast was excellent. The room I had was at the back so was not too noisy. If there are rooms overlooking the square by the station I would imagine they are very noisy. The only problem I had was the heater/air conditioning unit in the room. It did not work to cool down the room (which was very warm). This hotel is fine for an overnight stay or max. 2 nights.

hi .. sorry for the offensive title .. but i really feel that .. you made a great hotel .. furnished it perfectly .. put it in the best location .. and .. you lost my satisfaction !!imagine being in your pajamas ... under the cover at 11:00 pm .. when your internet connection stops .. and u call the reception and the guy tells you .. you have to come down to the reception to pay 3 euros and take a password .. how do you think about your customers .. will i run away before paying 3 euros ... i see this very offensive .. he could have simply give me the password over the phone and added it to my invoice while i check out !!guess what .. i am trusting you for thousands of dollars in your safe box .. and you do not trust me for 3 euros..i was always happy to hold my A-Club loyalty card in my wallet .. now ... i don't feel like it's my home .. sorry .. this simple (stupid) action made you loose my loyalty
