"Excellent stay at mercure Berlin Tegel"

Located very close to Tegel Airport, excellent for my travel-purpose.Dinner at the hotel was good, good choice, and affordable.The room was spaceous and clean. Bathroom was excellent. Bed was comfortable.Wi-Fi worked well and was included in the room-rate. Breakfast was good, good choice of food.

Good hotel near the airport - difficult to find but once found it was quite nice. From the outside it is a very uncharming hotel. Inside the hotel it is okay.

Nice, big room.Very near Berlin Tegel with a nice walk through a park in the morning, but if you do not need some fresh air you could use the free shuttle bus. Excellent food to reasonably price.A little bit off if you would like to do Berlin by night but Taxis everywhere make it still possible.

Friendly hotel at the Berlin Tegel Airport. Within walking distance but with excellent shuttle service. We used the hotel for overnight stay between different flights. Our dog was welcomed and there was sufficient nature around to exercise her. You can even bring your dog into the restaurant but it will have to stay under the table! Dinner was very good and breakfast superb.

The Mercure is good for early morning flights out of Tegel, with a free shuttle to & from the airport. We only stayed one night and arrived fairly late so didn't have the opportunity to use the gym facilities or restaurant so can't comment on those.The only downside was that the airconditioning in our room wasn't very efficient and as it had been a fairly warm day we had to sleep with the window open. Luckily we both pack earplugs so the traffic noise coming in the window wasn't a problem.The bedroom & bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfortable.

I loved staying in this hotel. The only downside was that the duvet on the bed was much shorter than the bed itself and it was too short. Other then that the breakfast is great and healthy with a wide range of selection.Service was excellent!

I like the hotel very much and stayed there probably about twenty times. Although the hotel and rooms are very basic, they are very clean and well maintained. Nice restaurant and a bar with a friendly staff is an additional attribute. Free shuttle to and from the airport is quick and reliable. I have to say that the moist important is the fantastic location. One can rent a car, return it at the airport (gas station just cress the street) and simply walk back to the hotel. Bus stops are within a walking distance too, so it is simply to get to the center of Berlin. There is an outdoor swimming pool too, but the weather in Berlin was not so good, at least during my stays. Finally, I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

We have stayed at this hotel 15 times and that is because it is a " friendly" hotel where you feel at home. It has the usual Accor standard, i.e. a friendly staff, especially in the breakfast restaurant. The location is perfect close to the airport and easy to reach from the motorway. Public transport is close to the hotel and efficient. The surroundings are green and good for a walk.We hope the hotel will still be there when Tegel Airport is closed but are worried about what happens with the possibillities of public transport.

Good location for Tegel airport, efficient transfer bus service.Comfortable bedroom with good lighting in both bedroom and bathroom! Excellent breakfast selection and a good choice for evening meals.Helpful and friendly staff.Hotel customers were a little noisy in the corridors and thoughtless when closing bedroom doors!! Though heard no noise from planes or nearby road.Would use this hotel again and would recommend.

called for their shuttle and they were there within 5 minutes. Considering that the euro was high compared to U.S it only cost $84.00 incl all taxes. The accommodations were very nice.The bedding was comfortable and everything was very clean and updated. Our rate included a full buffet breakfast which was very extensive .

Excellent hotel if you are travelling for business purpose and need to visit the Exhibition Centre in Berlin.Not too far though also from city center, approx. 20 minutes by taxi ( Euro 16/18).Directly off the airport.

We stayed for 1 night and needed to be close to the airport. This hotel was perfect for our purposes and the free shuttle to the airport was perfect.First the good: the breakfast was excellent-great variety of hot and cold items and included a few kid friendly items-much appreciated, What didn't we like: our wake up call never arrived in the morning so make sure you bring your own clock, the rooms are small (but that's not a problem for a short stay with a family), Wi-fi is pricey.
