"A really good experience"

The location of the hotel is superb, and the staff was very helpful. The room was vell-equipped, and there was no noise fra the street (we were at the sixth floor). Can indeed recommend. We didn't try the hotel restaurant.

The front desk service and information was great and professional. But rhe neighbordhood was too noisy. We really appreciated the complimentary city tour! It was a great idea... The only thing that was messing was a complimentary breakfast.

"Pre Christmas joy in Vienna"

This is a hotel in two parts situated very close together. We stayed in the smaller Fleischmarkt location. Overall very comfortable although rooms are quite small. Not a real problem if you are only sleeping there. The location is great for sightseeing. The cathedral is a short walk as is the U-Bahn and tram stop at Schwedenplatz .We travelled easily around the city with our travel passes. Breakfast room and bar are quite tight and breakfast only averege. However, there are cafes nearby which do a Viennese breakfast quite cheaply if you are prepared to venture out early. Reception staff were very friendly and spoke good English. We would have been hard presseed to find a better hotel for the money. Join Accor club for the best rates.

I stayed here 3 nights last weeks! Very good location, its located in the city center of Vienna, you can reach the Metro and tram station within 3-5 mins! Very nice room and clean ! Very nice staff , they are friendly and helpful! I would stay here again.

When you enter first time the hotel, everyone is smilling and helpfull.It just we are glad you are here. Great room, perfect breakfast, any quetsion you have they answer in the best way they can. Hotel is very quiet but just next to the heart of the city.

"Excellent Location for Shopping and Sightseeing"

Located in the Bermuda Triangle for the Viennese Party Scene. Also footwalk to all shopping and main area. Very good located place, unfortunately the hall way on the fourth floor smells. I worried about the noises from outside, but it was okay, (thanks double glass window).

Perfectly-located nice hotel. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Rooms are clean and nice, but rather small for business travellers. The only problem was noise from the construction sites near the hotel, but I think it is temporary issue.

"Perfect location"

The hotel is located very central and in the old part of Vienna. It is close to alot of sightseeing places. Nice restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Free wi-fi worked perfectly. The same did the aircondition. The room was wonderful and so was the breakfast. Pleasant and helpful staff. The beds were a bit too soft and the television switched off after approximately 20-30 minutes. We just switched it back on. Otherwise all other things were perfect. We will definitely consider staying at this hotel again.

"Mercure Disappointment"

We selected the Mercure hotel in Vienna because of our very positive previous experiences with Mercure hotels in Europe. This hotel was very well located in Vienna's city center. We had two major problems during our stay:1. The air-condition was being serviced during our stay and the hotel was aware of this issue and did not advise us when we made our reservation or on check-in. There was nothing they could do since the entire system was under repair.2. The lack of air condition required us to open the window. Across the street from this hotel are two night clubs that are open through the night and noise is very loud into the early morning hours. This would not have been a problem if the air condition worked.We discussed this issue with the front desk every morning and on the third morning they offered us a room discount of 30 Euros, which we accepted, but did not feel that was adequate compensation. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights.

the hotel was overall great value for money. The location was great, close enough to everything. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the room was nice. The only issues we had with the room was the lack of air-conditioning and the wireless didn't work very well in the room. The breakfast was nice but a little expensive, would have been nice to have the option to have it included in the price.

Hotel was clean, modern and conveniently placed for a city break in Vienna. The city centre is easily walkable but the tour bus trip was also interesting and good value. Vienna lived up to expectations in terms of its grandeur, spectacular buildings and collection of upmarket stores.

"Excellent hotel"

Excellent hotel with a modern ambient atmosphere; stylishly decorated rooms; comfortable beds and deluxe shower. Location is superb - 5 mintes leisurely walk to Stephansplatz - could not be better. Booked it on a special sales deal, so the price was better than value for money, I suppose, because it was in low season. The neighbourhood is very safe and queit.
