"Value for money"

I have stayed here twice. Location wise, it's not near main attractions of the city but for me it's an advantage as you can take becak (three-wheeler pedicab) to the palace of Sultan or the the famous Malioboro street and enjoy the view.Though my first stay was years ago, the room is still well maintained, aircon was working properly, all amenities are daily provided, not to mention the hospitality of all staff. My input is the lighting in corridor 3rd floor which, in my opinion, was a bit dark.View management response »

I reserving one month before arrival and got price IDR 508 k(USD 52) include breakfast for 2 adult and 2 child under 16 years old.The room is clean, high speed WIFI, flat TV with cable channel-for child, box office. So far I am satisfy for overall facility and service.Several things needs to be improved for better service:1. Parking and drop off facility. It was so many disturbances from the bus which parking in front of the hotel, so no space for drop off and parking.2. Car Wash Facility. I was driving from Jakarta to Jogja. I think the other family have the same problem with me.3. Hotel Rate. For the facility and service that I have received, I think the hotel rate is too expensive. need to be reviewed at least Rp 100.000,- below the current rate.Thank you
"Good choice to stay"

Booked two connected rooms for the family on non-smoking floor thru Accor Advantage. Rooms are okay, nice bed and utilities. Bath floor always wet due to water from tap. Restarurant/ Breakfast buffet are fine, many choices. Location is close to one shopping mall, busy street and a lot of hawker food outside.Small garden pool, dont expect to do sport swimming there. Food price is abit expensive. The only minus point is the Lift for guest is too small, need to upgrade to bigger size or add one or two more. Sometime we have to wait too long because it was full, especially during breakfast time.
"Good hotel, but unsatified with the check in service"

Actually in overall the hotel is very good. The room condition, the location and facilities are very good. I was disapointed with the check in service.I booked the hotel far advance more than 1 month prior our stay. I requested to get 2 connecting rooms since I travelled with my children and 2 of them are under 5 years old.Prior our arrival my husband checked the availability of the connecting room for my family and it was confirmed that we will get the connecting room. When we checked in it was informed that the connecting room was not available. The hotel gave us one room at 3rd floor and another room at 5 floor which we couldn't accept that because we stayed with little children. if it was at the same floor maybe we could tolerate for 1 night. After a long negotiation, we requested to get extra bed for one night and we will get another room which was connecting the day after. We should wait for more than 1 hour until finally we got 1 room at 5th floor which is actually connecting room but the other room was occupied. we were so dissapointed finding that the extra bed was not yet ready when our children were very tired. We should wait again until the extra bed was set up.I was really unsatisfied because the hotel should give more attention to our request and should inform us before if the connecting room was not available so we can think to find another hotel, especially because I am the member of the accor club and i expected to get a better service.View management response »

"A Nice Place to stay in Yogyakarta"

It's rather old, but world class standard of housekeeping and service shown that it's not not your wrong choice.Location is close to city centre, walking distance to Galleria Mall where you can find food or something that you forget to bring along.. In front of Bethesda hospital, one of the biggest private catholic hospital in Yogyakarta.Believe you can sleep well since no street noise will disturbing your stay.

"Need more promo with breakfast"

Novotel is a nice place rather than a bit far from downtown maliaboro.It is a nice place. Unfortunately, price with breakfast is so expensive.

We just stay each 2 (two) days in both Novotel Yogya and Solo recently, and we pay 50% more expensive staying in Novotel Yogya than Novotel Solo but unfortunately their Novotel Yogya services quality (likes room quality/cleaness & breakfast quality/price) was even worse than Novotel Solo.We hope that Novotel hotels group/Accor hotels group is able to review and revise their hotel rates, Novotel Yogya rate MUST be cheaper/lower than Novotel Solo ...... "Culture meets comfort"

Jogja is one of my favorite destination. You can meet warm and nice people, great culture and seems like the time really slowing down. Novotel Jogja is my favorite place to stay. When you enter the gate, you already feel comfort and homy. All workers there will give you sincere smile and ready to help you. The Superior room also look warm, comfort and clean. It provide basic need for that kind of room. This hotel also provide nice swimming pool and fitness center, great taste breakfast and spacious dinning room.Either you only stay at hotel all day or you go around Jogja, or you on holiday or in business travel, this hotel will welcome you and comfort you.
