ibis Styles Paris République (ex all seasons): 3.0 out of 5 stars "Clean and good location! breakfast was very good"

19th March 2012, London, United Kingdom

The room size was small but confortable for one person. There was a water bottle in the room. (I didn't need to buy waterbottle.)Breakfast was great! Lots of choice. There was no hair dryer in the room, had to borrow from the reception, It was inconvinient. But the wall was quite thin. I could hear the noise next door, which was quite bad.Except that, it is good.

ibis Styles Paris République (ex all seasons): 2.0 out of 5 stars "Average Stay but cheaper- Very Small rooms"

9th March 2012, Auckland, New Zealand

If you on a romantic getaway, this hotel is not recommended. While it is close to various cafes, and the metro, the quality of this hotel is poor. Customer service is poor, and was disappointed that ACCOR recommends this hotel. Very small area. The one lift takes one person and their luggage up to your floor at a time. Standard rooms are very small. I had to sit sideways on the toilet. General coffee and tea facilities downstairs, when you ask for some milk and water, "sorry, it has run out for the day." unhelpful. This is at lunch time. Room service entered the room twice, whilst having the do not disturb card hanging on the door! very embarressing.

ibis Styles Paris République (ex all seasons): 2.0 out of 5 stars "Mind the porter!!!"

15th February 2012, Heidelberg, Germany

My opinion concerns the personnel especially. On my arrival, a REFUSING English speaking porter (in one of the most international metropolitan areas in Europe!!!) shouted at me that I could not have any special price for the room that I booked...Actually I never asked for any special price!!! In the morning the same person argued that I was not staying at that hotel when friends were looking for me and "kindly" invited them to leave the hotel. He continued to refuse to speak English even though it was very clear that he perfectly understood English and was perfectly able to speak it!My second complain concerns the heating system which required about one hour to produce warm air. In the meanwhile only fresh air was ejected...in the middle of February. Last but not the least, the room itself. In my opinion too small, no reasonable space for the luggage, no hair-dryer ...

ibis Styles Paris République (ex all seasons): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Very clean, safe, friendly staff. Excellent hotel! Recommended."

8th January 2012, United Kingdom

I recently stayed at the All Season Paris Republique hotel for a long weekend break over New Year's Eve. Having read mixed reviews I was a little unsure as to what to expect from the hotel.. We booked it because it was relatively cheap considering it is based in the City centre. The hotel itself is modern and tidy. The reception area is warm and inviting and staff were very friendly. The double rooms have big double beds (very comfy!) , a flat screen TV (no UK channels though) and an en-suite bathroom. Bathroom is quite small but very clean. Breakfast was included in our room and is quite basic (no hot food, but plenty of bread/pastries/fruit etc) and is served between 6am and 10am - perfect if you're not one for getting up early on your holidays. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a weekend/city break type holiday to Paris. It is located 2 minutes walk from the Republique metro stop and from there it is only about a 10 minute metro journey to the Louvre museum (very central Paris). There are plenty of small bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and price in this area isn't too expensive either. Wonderful, clean, friendly hotel!

ibis Styles Paris République (ex all seasons): 2.0 out of 5 stars "Not the best experience"

3rd October 2011, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA

Upon arrival I was not greeted as expected, reception-front desk was very unfriendly. The room had a bad humid smell, and they didnt have any more rooms available to switch, I loved the location, metro was near by and tons of good restaurants around.

ibis Styles Paris République (ex all seasons): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great location. AAA in terms of value for money"

27th September 2011

Located at a 2 min walk from Place de la Republique. Easy to connect to most locations in Paris. Staff makes you feel at home. Great value for the price paid.. Rooms are a bit small but they are still impeccable and comfy. Enjoy!

ibis Styles Paris République (ex all seasons): 5.0 out of 5 stars "Very nice"

15th August 2011, crickhowell

Stayed here with my 18yr old daughter for 2 nights, the room was lovely and spotlessly clean,(the bed so comfy ) the bathroom was small but the shower worked perfectly. Breakfast was lovely too with more than enough to eat, tables were cleared quickly when finished with. The only small problem was the 2nd morning at breakfast the drilling started right above( refurbishment work) and was very loud!!

ibis Styles Paris République (ex all seasons): 2.0 out of 5 stars "Business trip."

31st July 2011, Rugby

Would definately not return to this hotel as my room had a strange smell in it. My colleagues also expressed the same opinion, they were very unsatisfied by the quality of the rooms. The quality of the rooms is very different from the pictures that are on your website, and this seems very dissapointing for customers when they arrive at the hotel.

ibis Styles Paris République (ex all seasons): 4.0 out of 5 stars "tour de france 2011"

30th July 2011, POrtsmouth

We had gone to Paris to watch the last day of the tour de france. The choice of hotel was not important so just picked this one from 100's in Paris. It was a good choice as it was near the metro, not far from the Gare de Nord station (for eurostar). It was clean and tidy and the buffett breakfast was good. All staff were helpful and most spoke good english. The bedroom was a little cramped but ok for what we wanted. Did get woken at 4am by returning guests in the room next door, but that can happen in any hotel. There were plenty of bars near by an the canal St. martin near by, which was nice to walk along in the evenings. Would use again.

ibis Styles Paris République (ex all seasons): 3.0 out of 5 stars "A hotel with 2 faces"

25th July 2011, Dallas

Daytime service great. Night time service HORRIBLE! The person working at night named Ali could not be bothered with anyone and had an absolutely HORRIBLE attitude. He should not be working anywhere that he has to deal with Customer's of any kind.

ibis Styles Paris République (ex all seasons): 3.0 out of 5 stars "Decent sightseeing base in Paris"

6th July 2011, lesrad, new jersey

Clean basic hotel with good location close to Metro. We stayed during the Paris Air Show and paid the maximum fee of 125 Euros which is excessive for such a basic hotel. The rooms had wireless. Some staff members were helpful while others were quite rude. I would only stay here again if the price was right.

ibis Styles Paris République (ex all seasons): 3.0 out of 5 stars "Location and Quality"

28th June 2011, Hong Kong

Location is convenient, in town centre area just 3 minutes walk to the Metro station Republique where you can take Metro Line 5 to Gare de l'Est (trains to Germany) and Gare Du Nord (Euro Star to London and train to CDG airport). Also convenient to take the metro to Arc de Truiomphe and Opera etc.Nearby is Plaza Republique where you may find street sleepers occupying the area.Room is VERY small, you may have difficulty in putting your luggage unless you are traveling light.

ibis Styles Paris République (ex all seasons): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Small hotel, located in Republique"

14th June 2011, simrobi, Colchester, United Kingdom

Compact hotel, located in Republique which is what we wanted. Small rooms, but comfortable. Bathroom in our room was tiny and if you have a disability you may have problems sitting down on loo, it was so close to the wall! Our price included wifi and breakfast buffet - no frills, but set us up just fine for the day.
