"Bad and Good comments"

1; Internet booking for more room with 1 credit card debit is stupid, credit card should only be debit by none canceling situation. (I´m also told the reception staff don´t debit every booked room on my credit card depending on different company guests)2; The rate of the room comparing with the standard is much to high, even if there is a exhibition in Düsseldorf and the breakfast is not included3; 9€ for 24hr Internet access additional??!! In Sweden you never will pay for Internet access, standard in ALL hotels of ALL category!4; Breackfast was perfect!5; My recommendation is to use a flash light on the vacuum cleaner because the carpet was not clean at all6; My recommendation to recommend this hotel a friend depends on a; the location b; the breackfast quality c; if my hotel I´m use to stay at is overbooked d; but defenitly NOT for the price

My only compliant about the hotel is that the female staff at reception tend to be a bit officious, if they relaxed and smiled some more it would change the whole atmosphere of reception. Otherwise the hotel once again was excellent and well run.

The hotel is in a good central location near to main train station. Easy walking distance to river and Rathaus and shopping area (shops all closed Sunday).clean rooms with shower and bath. Air con works.Good choice of breakfast.Friendly staff.Recommend the hotel.Pool and Sauna.Would be a child friendly hotel too.

While booking thru the net there is an option of 3 persons in a room, so one assumes that the room will be a bigger / different one. But it turned out to be a standard double with a third bed thrown in. The room does not have a tea maker, an almost standard feature in most hotels. Air conditioning was centrally and not individually controlled, making it uncomfortable.

Room made for one should be for to persons - as booket. Breakfast very expensive and boring. Restaurants staff dose not consider what is happening and what is missing. Good coffee in the room. Very hard pillows

Everything in the hotel is clean and efficient. The hotel is located in front of Duisburg HBF so connections are very comfortable and the shuttle for Weeze airport stops at 100m. Dusseldorf Messe and airport is easily reachable too.The only lack is that there is only one free internet console at the reception. Internet in the rooms has to be paid both wireless and wired. Nowadays many hotels give free network access to their customers and this is really important for business. Despite this I stay at Mercure Duisburg City every time I have to travel in Dusseldorf area.
