"Excellent choice"

Stayed en route to our annual ski trip to the French alps. We have stayed in many of the Accor group hotels in Europe before and this was one of the best so far! The weather outside was minus 9 but we were warm and cosy inside. The restaurant served a good varied menu even if the prices seemed a little high. Staff in the restaurant were really sweet and helpful as were the desk staff on reception. Only thing missing is the ability to make a cup of tea in the bedrooms! Also handy large supermarket opposite which saved us having to stop again closer to our final destination. Would recommend highly.

The location is 7 klms from Macon & the location was in a box store mall. This is a good value hotel chain with consistent service. I prefer being closer to old cities as I am on a tour on a biycle and maps guiding to location were confusing. This is the 2oth IBIS I have stayed at and it has a nice area to ave a drink in the sunshine.
"Business Trip to Cluny"

As this was a business trip to Cluny, we only needed to spend 1 night in the area and the Ibis in Macon was the closest to our destination.The food and accommodation were Excellent, my only issue was with the bathroom, getting in and out of the bath to shower was dangerous due the height of the bath and no hand rails were provided.
