"Family trip to Paris"

Excellent location: 30 EUR from Orly and 40 EUR to CDG by taxi. Nor far from Louvre. There is a train station nearby, and you get on a train and are in Disneyland in 40 minutes. A sightseeing bus stop is just around the corner, behind Opera. There are lots of restaurants around, we used Chez Clement on Blv Capucines and liked it, paid 70 EUR for 3 starters, 3 mains, and 2 beers; the service was quick.Room was relatively big, clean, we asked for an extra bed and got it in 10 min. The staff was very friendly.The only downsides for me were that a bathroom and a toilet were separated by our room lounge, literally these were 2 premises and their doors were not lockable, you could obviously close the doors but no locks were inside the handles - which is a bit unusual. And the bath towels slightly smelled vinegar… felt it just on the day of check out. But I would stay in the hotel again

"pure quality, intensive care..."

It's a perfect hotel in every way. As a demanding customer, I didn't need to demand anything because everything was at our service. Central location, historical place with modern furnishing, big and 5 star room. Got everything as expected to get from a real 5 star hotel and the hospitality of the guest relations were unexpectedly perfect.

"not as my expectation"

this was the first time that i stay at this hotel but honestly i can tell you the below:they didn't upgrade my room(platinum member)even i booked from 45 daysi arrive at the hotel at 12 but the room was ready at 1.30i cannot tell you how much the room is dark i pay 500 euro per night but my stay was not as the value i api.honnestly i didn't like this hotel and i will not book with them anymore but for sure i will still use sofitel in holland and brussels since their services and was better

Great hotel, perfect location! Walking distance to most places you want to sightseeing while in Paris. Nice room, very friendly staff. The beds are very good. Breakfast is expensive as in most five star hotels.

Beautiful hotel in a great location (9th arr. near l'Opera). Quiet room, quality linens and comfortable bed make for a very good night's sleep. The bellmen, front desk and concierge are extremely personable and available for any assistance you might need with dinner, cars, metro, directions, etc. The only negatives were the closet (so small a coat hanger wouldn't fit in) and spotty room service (missing bathroom linens, minibar not restocked, missed turn-down service). Overall, a very nice place to stay at a not-too-unreasonable price, though the housekeeping service is not up to its 5-star rating.

Simply exquisite, the Scribe has kept its tradiitional grandness while incorporating many modern conveniences. The beds deserve special mention for their luxurious feel and sleep-inducing comfort. Helene, the concierge, was efficient and precise in making dinner reservations. Some investment in the gym might be worthwhile. It is small, dark and lacks some standard equipment. Just a suggestion. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We will make the Scribe our home in Paris.

Excellent Hotel. Good Location. VERY comfortable large beds. Rooms a little on the small size. We were not overly impressed with the "Magnifique Breakfast” its not that Magnifique in our opinion, which was a shame as the stay overall was very good

We found Hotel Scribe to be well located, clean and well run. As a five star Sofitel we wouldn't really expect anything less though. Staff however were exceptional, the facilities clean and modern and the bed very comfortable. Our only real complaint was the size of the room however this is Europe where hotel rooms are generally not of the same size as in Australia and Asia. My only other slight disappointment was lack of recognition as a top tier member of the Accor frequent stay program, specifically the lack of an upgrade offer or acknowledgement that one was not available because the hotel was full. Small issue and not one that would stop us from recommending the hotel or staying here again.

"Excellent First Time Stay"

We visit Paris annually and normally try a different hotel each time. This time, we decided to stay at the Hotel Scribe managed by Sofitel. My husband has an Accor A/C Club membership which also impacted this decision. We were extremely pleased with this hotel. Warm reception by guest relations manager late at night on our arrival, room upgrade based on our Accor program, gorgeous room and appointed very nicely, large bathroom, quiet room, and excellent location. Welcome gift for our son, etc. The conceirge assisted us with some restaurant reservations and were generally very pleasant and thorough. We found a real gem. Would definately return and look forward to our next visit.

"A Magnificent Stay"

There has been our second visit to Hotel Scribe, we booked a romantic pack as previously did and were repeatedly (!) kindly upgraded to an Imperial Suite, the best hotel room we have ever stayed in! This was amazing! It was my birthday and the attention and the attitude of the staff were exceptional as were they during our first visit. Everything about this hotel is great: the location (a couple of hundred yards from the Opera House), the facilities (spa, etc.), the delicious and tasty food at the restaurants, the cleanliness of the rooms, etc., but what we were really impressed with is the great staff invaluable service. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and we could not recommend this probably the best hotel in Paris more highly!!

"Perfect Paris Weekend"

My husband and I just spent a wonderful at the Hotel Scribe. It is in a fabulous location, right across the street from the Intercontinental and around the corner from fabulous shopping. The Scribe was aware that it was my birthday and there were roses, champagne, and cookies waiting in the room. The room was extremely clean and well appointed. We never felt the room was too small and the space was well utilized. ONE of the nice things is that the shower is a full stall, completely enclosed so as not to leak water all over the bathroom. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong with this hotel, it truly deserves it's 5 star rating!

"Hotel Scirbe - a pleasant surprise"

We thoroughtly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Scribe. Our room was upgraded so it was really amazing value for money, especially since we had already prepurchased our room on a special deal. We could not fault anything in our room, it was extremely comfortable and well serviced. The attention from the staff at the front desk, concierge and dinning room was courteous and very helpful and obliging. The location was great - Metro on the door step, very close to the airport bus stand and of course close to the large department stores and shops.
