Hotel just ok, in a horrible area, with suspicious people around. Parking is 22 € per day in a nearby parking, this is at present the highest amount ever paid in Germany. The quality of the red IBIS tends to go direction of the blue, and below most ibis red, like those you have in the Netherlands. I have to pay in advance, instead of check-out. Never happened so far, if not in student hostals.
We visited Berlin for the first time and arrived by car. There is a free car park just over the road - I guess we were lucky in that there was an empty space when we arrived at around 5:00 p.m. but, even if you're not that lucky there seems to be a reasonable turnaround of free spaces. We never moved the car for 4 days - no problem. The Berlin metro is situated around 5-10 minutes walk away from the hotel and this takes you anywhere you want to go. Takes about 15 minutes on the metro to be in the 'city centre' but really that is not a problem. Great views from our hotel window, Staff were friendly and informative. If we go back to Berlin we would definitely use this hotel again.
Conveniently located hotel right next to the ZOB bus station (Eurolines, Flixbus etc) and S-bahn station, as well as the ICC conference center. Very nice rooms, but don't leave your window open because morning rush hour starts early in Berlin! Only negative points: fairly expensive (93 euros for a single night without breakfast), and it is very hard to get on the internet with the hotel wifi.
I was attending a conference at the City Cube so picked the IBIS. the good:- for a budget hotel breakfast was good and included in my rate The rate was great at 80 euro a night the bed was comfy close to both the bus station and the S line areas for improvement it is a not a quiet hotel despite them suggesting it on the website i had to move on the first night the walls are not very well insulated tea/coffee in the room would be a major benefit although you dont have an onsite gym a partnership with another gym that guests can pay for on a single trip visit would be useful overall a low cost easy access hotel
With the Messe across the street the hotel will get visitors anyway probably. But come on, the hotel could do better than we experienced last week! We got a key to a room which was already occupied. Our final room had a terrible sewer-like smell. The free wifi is bad; the paid wifi was even worse; the helpdesk on the phone could not assist. When we checked-out we apparently had booked a business package incl free high speed wifi, but nobody told us at the beginning and we were not given access codes. Fortunately on our way back home we also stayed at the Accor hotel in Bad Oeynhausen: perfect! Could the Messe please move to Bad Oeynhausen??
Close to the Messe Berlin and ICC, a basic hotel with a minor update but still an older hotel with just the minimum of updates. there is good connection to the city and Tegal airport is a 10 min cab trip away.
Excellent location for visitors of ITB Berlin. Rooms are clean and quiet. Stuff very pleasant and friendly. WI FI excellent. I only had problem with hot and cold water, one second is very hot, and other second very cold water, so showring was no to pleasant

It's a good and cheap hotel and very close to the Zentraler Omnibus Bahnhof station. Also within easy reach of the U2 ans S-Bahn. I would definitely recommend them if you would like to visit Berlin. ..
Dear Gil B, thank you for your stay at our ibis Hotel Berlin Messe and for your compliments. It is a pleasure to read that you enjoyed your stay with us. We hope to welcome you back soon. All the best for you and best regards from Berlin Heike Fehrmann General Manager
I traveled with friends. The service in the hotel was very good. The stuff was helpful and kind. The hotel was clean. Our rooms were cleaned daily. The hotel is far from the center but it is located near the S-ban, bus stations and not far from the subway. So it will take you 30 minutes to get to most places in the city. You also have a night bus that stops few steps from the hotel. Points for improvement Not all the rooms have a good WiFi reception. The bathroom towels could be better. A part of the hotel was under renovation so we needed to change our room because of noise. The hotel should think of this in advance and put his guests as far as possible from the renovated parts.
I booked a room with 3 bed in the promotion "book 3 night and pay 2" that Accor Hotels published last month. When I arrived the staffs kind of theated me say that it was more expensive and it wasn't the price that I paid throw the webpage. I spent all my stay scared because I do not planned to pay more 59 Euros that the staff told me. So I saved money and I do not went in some places that I wanted in other to save money. The wi-fi SIGNAL is horrible inside the room 222. U can not find the network. but in the corridor works perfect. I went to receipting to say the SIGNAL was horrible in my room... and without i order, the stuff want to SALE me a fast internet. and start to put it in my bill. and I said that the PROBLEM WASNT THE SPEED BUT THE SIGNAL AND I DONT WANT BUY THE FAST INTERNET I JUST WANTED CONECT MY COMPUTER. After few minutes saying clearly, I DONT WANT FAST INTERNET. I bring him in my room and show that the problem was not with my computer because my Mobile and iPad also could've not find the wi-fi. After that i request to change the room, and the room n. 420 the internet works ok. The room is clean, but they do not change the towels. In the end, alter that make me scared that they could've request more 59 euros. they didn't and i leave there angry because I avoid to go to some museums and restaurants that I wanted in other to save money.
Dear Guest Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the ibis Berlin Messe. I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. Of course you booked a three bedroom for three nights. In case of a mistake throw the webpage regarding the amount of people, you could book the triple room for one person, so that we got the reservation only for one person instead of three persons. That why there was a different amount. Rest assured that I have informed the responsible department and that we will take the appropriate measures to prevent something like this from happening again. For goodwill we made no price rise for you, but you are right, we had to give you this information by arrival in our hotel, I´m very sorry for this mistake. My Colleague given me the information about the wifi problems and I contacted our contractual partner to solve this problem. At ibis, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Best regards Heike Fehrmann General Manager
