"Close to airport"

We chose this hotel based on past reviews. They were spot on! Restaurants are expensive for what you receive, the shuttle is extremely over-packed with travelers (many who could not get on), and the rooms were extremely small (we had 3 suitcases and we could barely get to the bed or door). On a positive note, the rooms were very clean and free WiFi!Oh, one very important thing... please be very careful with the third party vendor (which sells t-shirts, souvenirs, etc.) in the lobby of the hotel. Very rude lady who needs a major attitude adjustment. My wife was in tears after speaking with her and it certainly placed a damper on our holidays. Perhaps this is the type of customer service that is acceptable in Asia, but not in the Western world. Hopefully Accor will agree.View management response »

Good hotel if your choice is to stay close to the airport. There is transportation from hotel to airport. And airport is just 20 min from Amsterdan Central Station by train. Just the breakfast is too expensive - 16 euros.View management response »

"IBis AMS stay"

Rooms were not clean, room phones did not work properly, bathroom doors did not work properly. We stayed in the ground level and the room was very noisy, it was very hard to sleep in the night. The bus service from and to the Airport was a bit erratic too. The attitude of the housekeeping staff was very good.View management response »

"Another good experience at IBIS Amsterdam Airport"

Unfortunately, this time we had an issue with the heater thermostat set at 24 degres with the radiator on full heat. It took close to 1 hour with the window open and the aircon on to bring the temperature down to an acceptable level. It made a short night even shorther.View management response »

"The Worst, and Ridiculous"

The Worst hotel I have ever stay.Before I arrived the hotel, I wrote a letter to ask if they can take a parcel for me, they replied yes. So, I ask my friends to write my name and check in date on the parcel. When I checked in the hotel, and asked for my parcel, they said they can not find it. Then I ask my friend, but she told me that she just got informed that the hotel reject my parcel. I went back to the reception asked whe? They said because I have not checked in. Then I asked to talk with the staff whom contact with me named Antonella, but they just said she is off, not sure if she comes tomorrow. I always got my parcel when I travel to other country, so it was never happened before.This hotel is ridiculous. Even I wrote to the contact staff Antonella, she was not reply anymore. Never got any apology from the staff even the hotel.View management response »
