"Dont park in the car park in winter....."

Car park while we stayed used to be good - however it was snowing heavily for the week and - as there was no where else to park safely we had no choice - the staff were particullarly unconcerned that the snow had built up and the place was an ice rink. Also we had to leave early for a swift exit - re car ferry back to blighty - abd were worried about the car going nowhere on ice - the staff shrugged and said it would be fine.It wasnt.....We slid all over the place no traction - no help - no de-icer - no grit - almost missed ferry....Then also the guy on the desk took money from our card for the room at a price much higher than the price agreed on the reservation on the internet. And then didnt know how to put it back on to the card so refunded us in euro's which then incurred charges to change it back to GBP.Mould in the room by the windows.Wouldnt go back.

The hotel is fine, the young manager exceptional (the one that on one stay attented to getting my dead battery fixed !), however on this last stay (Room 17), the beds were intolerably uncomfortable. "Like sleeping on a board, it would be more comfortable on the floor". The mattresses were bumpy and so unflexible that it was painful to lay on them. Further stays and recommendations (we travel at least once per month since our factory is in Auffay) will need your attention to these mattresses.Lastly, each person should be provided with two pillows. I had to wait around for better than a half hour to get a second pillow.And just a suggestion, go to one login for the entire stay for WiFI. The use of sheets which must be reprogrammed every day is frustrating and pointless.

Just found hard to get to ,but once there was quite efficient and got to room quickly and easily.would have liked more choice of beers please, only had 1664 on draught !! we didn't eat in the hotel ,but the breakfast was good and the people that did eat in the evening looked to have quick , good serv ice .

Staff were friendly. Room was pleasent clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and well appointed apart from ther being no functioning plug in the wash basin. This was reported to staff but they seemed unable to correct the problem over the weekend. The evening meal was very disappointing - we ate elsewhere the following night.
