"A weekend away"

We found your hotel perfect for our weekend away, central for the guys who wanted to visit the wartime rocket sites and perfect for the ladies who wanted to shop. Service at the hotel was extremely good, the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and the staff extremely helpful. Thank you.

After reading previous reviews, I was pleasantly surprised at the the high standards of cleanliness and customer service which met us at the Ibis in Boulogne. The breakfast was good value for money too.

We stayed at this hotel as an overnight stay to break up a long journey before travelling back to the UK. Its location is ideal as it is 30mins away from Eurotunnel. The hotel is clean and pleasant and perfect for what we wanted it for. I would be a littledisappointed if we were staying here all week, as it is quite basic and the rooms aren't that big. Also there is no room service, fridge or drink making facilities in rooms. Bed was comfy and large enough for 2 adults and baby. Parking is under the hotel and reasonably handy altough no lift when attached shopping mall closed which was a pain with a pushchair! Overall would recommend though.

This is a cheap functional hotel in a central location and you most definitely get what you pay for. The staff were friendly and helpful, my main complaint is that the seagulls woke us up early and were so noisey that we couldn't get back to sleep. If you would prefer sleep over view take a room at the back.

Excellent hotel from arrival to departure, whether a stopover or base for exploring the coast, we have stayed here approx. 8 times in the last 2 years and would thoroughly recommend it. Meals are good, staff all friendly and attentive and all in all in my opinion a good value for money xperience.

Whenever we go to Bouogne....usually 2-3 times a year....we always stay at the Ibis Centre-les-Ports. It's ideally located and is a well run, good value hotel with a reasonably secure car park underneath. Wherever we go, we find that the Ibis chain is consistently reliable and offers good value for money
"Motorcycle trip"

As a group of six on motorcycles we found the hotel in a good position very clean and easy to find.Service was very good, value for money (we booked well in advance) rooms were very clean. The centre of the town was very close by and we all walked into town for our evening meal and a few beers.

The hotel is standard Ibis. Our 20-day-in-advance deal was a very good price. Staff friendly and helpful. The town centre, a 10 minute walk (15 minutes to the fortified old town), was quiet on the Sunday night, so we ate at the hotel. The menu, though not huge, offered a good variety and was well priced (but the crudities buffet was more of a limited salad buffet, with mayonnaisse-covered items). Behind the hotel, and sharing the car park, is a small shopping centre (open 8 - 20, Mon - Sat). The Carrefour supermarket is the size of an average UK one, not a hypermarket, but has a fair choice of everything a Brit returning home may want to stock up on, including beers, wine boxes and bottled wine packed 6-in-a-box, and tinned cassoulet, confit duck legs etc. In fact, less choice meant quicker selection. Also, fresh milk & bread, and no long queues at checkout.. Currently (Sept 2011), there are roadworks out front, so you follow the yellow (diversion) Ibis sign and enter the access ramp from the wrong direction. Much more relaxing than Cite Europe.

A modern block, clean rooms, bright entrance, an agreeable view of the port at the front; this is nothing breathtaking but it is handy for Boulogne and the Channel crossings. Best of all, the staff went out of their way to make us welcome and attend to our needs. Rooms are clean and adequately sized, facilities reasonably modern and a car park in the basement is a bonus. We did not eat here\; many good restaurants are within walking distance. Once the roadworks are completed outside, we will happily return.

Hotel easy to find, close to centre of town. Plenty of amentities nearby. Car parking opposite the hotel is free and safe - no need to use the car park. Facilities fine but basic - as expected from an Ibis hotel.
"Holiday Return"

We have stayed here several times before on returning from holiday in France and have never been disappointed. However, this time there were a few niggling issues that meant that our syay this time was not up to the usual standard:-1. We recall that you used to provide a kettle, tea and coffe in the rooms but this facility seems to have been withdrawn.2. Through no fault of yours the normal secure car parking was not available.3. A tap was running throughout the night in an adjascent room which made sleeping difficult.
