OK, But Needs a Refresh

This a fairly basic mid range hotel. All necessary amenities are there but need a refresh. The carpet is shabby, the shower grout and bathroom walls could use a refresh and everything would be better with a coat of paint. Convenient location and parking, OK service. Nothing memorable.

Check in and getting to a ready room is always very satisfying after a long day of travelling. The staff are always very friendly. I'm not great at French but the staff are multilingual and their English is fantastic making for a very seamless visit. Breakfast is wonderful, lots of choices. Wifi was strong signal this time, it's been very weak in the past. Some gripes I have are that the parking lot is a bit cramped and the spots are angled, some people find that challenging to park in making for some difficult maneuvering around errant cars. The chargers were working this time too. Be patient with the hot water, it can take 3-4 minutes to reach the shower making me wonder if I had it set to cold, but eventually it came. It would be nice to have higher pressure though.

Arrived late but no problem with checking in etc, only “concern” was group of guests immediately outside entrance smoking - not a good advert for the hotel!
