"My Favorite Hotel Strasbourg"

This is my favorite place to stay in Strasbourg. It's in a great location. Nice decor. We had Christmas Eve dinner here and it was amazing. I highly recommend this hotel. Everyone at the front desk is always very friendly and helpful.

Hotel is rather difficult to access by car (even with GPS) but very convenient for a walk in the Old City.Rooms are ok in consideration of hotel star rating - Bathroom a bit small for a ***** hotel .TV screen should be bigger in consideration of room's size.Fine bar with a quite pleasant and quiet outside terrace.Excellent service.

This was our third stay at the Sofitel Strasbourg. The location is great, quiet but only metres from the heart of the city. The staff and service are excellent but the rooms are not very different from those of, say, a run of the mill Mercure.

The hotel is situated in the centre of an old town. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The room is very good (morning gown, slippers, high quality cosmetic).The room is cleaned twice a day ( in the evening they prepare beds for the night and turn on classic music). It was very pleasant to stay here. The bar and the restaurant are very good.

The Check-In was very unfriendy, we dont become the room, that we booked, no upgrade for platinum member, no gift present, unfriendly stuff. the wall of the rom was broken. Only the bed was excellent!

Excellent location, hotel well up to Sofitel standards, ie very good in all areas. Given the choice I would happily stay in the hotel again. Sound base for exploring the old centre of Strasbourg, many good restaurants close to the hotel.

Some rooms are small and cluttered, - this one was. Smoking - I think - had been going on in my room, although I did request a non-smoking one. Tried to pay the evening prior to checking out but was told that was not possible. Too bad, really since everybody leaves on Thursday morning when I'm there. Add 20 minutes to lines in front of reception.
