Sofitel Minneapolis hotel

"Excellent Hotel"

For the past two years, I've been traveling to Minneapolis monthly. I've stayed at several hotels in the area, and never found one that I really liked until I stayed at the Sofitel. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are huge, and the beds are amazing.

"Where's the Coffee?"

I have stayed at this location previoulsly and was looking forward to staying again. I arrived late in the evening (after 10pm) so I missed the refreshing juice and warm towel I had recieved on arrival during other stays. The room was satisfactory but smelled a little like moth balls - once I got some candles lit; that went away. The beds at this property are FANTASTIC! I would stay again for that reason alone - My only issue with this property is the lack of coffee pots in the rooms. Seems like a little thing; but I need some caffiene to get me going in the morning.

This is one of many requests that our reception team can highlight for future reference. We also offer complimentary coffee in our lobby between the hours of 7AM and 9AM, if you would so prefer.

"Always a great hotel to stay at."

Love the Sofitel - great place, great location - will stay at again. We have yet to take in a brunch here but want to try it as it looks amazing. The staff is great to deal with and they now recognize us as we travel with our dog. Bell man even gave her treats.

We've traveled quite a bit internationally and staying at the Sofitel Minneapolis reminds us of our best travel memories - a private, quiet, and comfortable getaway with an excellent restaurant. We always enjoy their breakfasts, and we always stop in their gift shop to bring home something unique.

We love the Sofitel in Bloomington, MN! My wife and I really enjoy staying at this hotel, the staff are professional, the rooms are incredible and they even allow dogs. This location is our preferred location while in Minnesota. Cannot wait to return.

My wife and I enjoy eating in nice restaurants, The Chez Colette is certainly one. With the change od decore came a change in music. The fast paced music currently playing has a tendancy to make you rush through your meal and get out....no staying for a dessert or after dinner cocktail. Something to consider.........

Great hotel, great restaurant, great location! this Sofitel location is outstanding on all counts from the great beds to the coffee with wake-up call in the morning! My only suggestion is that with a hotel of this caliber that wireless internet should be offered at no charge.
