"Very pleasant stay"

Very nice hotel with a very friendly staff. Rooms are clean and well furbished. Location is perfect for visiting surrounding cities like Geneva. Excellent value for money. Definitely a prime place to stay in the area.
"Good hotel"

The hotel is clearly a bit out of the city, but it is a very good hotel. The rooms are clean, the staff are very friendly and the restaurant is good. Breakfast is also OK.The fact that it is a Novotel means that all the rooms in all the Novotel hotels are the same. There is no personal touch and I also have to say that in general the Novotel room concept is getting a bit outdated!

Clean hotel but average rooms and located several km's away from downtown Lausanne. Not happy about the service and the unfriendly staff. Watch out for the so called "City break' deals which should include free breakfast for 2 nights. After calling the hotel before arriving they assured us we were eligible for the deal. When arriving at the hotel they told us we werent able to get the deal. (First telling us its already over for 3 weeks, later because we made a so called "mistake" on the internet, eventhough we called the hotel before arriving to make sure we would get the deal.)Very unhappy with the way they treated a good customer.
"Guarantee fee reservation at reception"

I had problems with the reservation guarantee fee (400 CHF). Coming to the hotel I wanted to pay for all night. But the reception is the first reservation guarantee deposit of 400 CHF and after that ordered to pay for it all night 770 CHF. This is a heck of a total of 1200 CHF. When booking on the security deposit was not mentioned. Be careful!

The hotel was very good, clean and confortable.The bedroom was ok, with a nice bathroom with tube, a nice bed, and so on.But it doesn't have a good cost / benefits ratio. For the price, I expected more.

We stayed at 2 nights at the Novotel Lausanne Bussigny. The room was a good size for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. Breakfast was very good with many varieties. We had dinner there on the second night and it was excellent. However, on our second day, the cleaning lady forgot to clear our rubbish and also did not provide a spare toilet roll even though the remaining one was more than half used. We told reception about it and they were promptly resolved within minutes. Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel, like all Novetel hotels I have stayed in have high standards. I like the design attitude and their responsiveness of the staff--always pleasant and helpful. My only complaint is the cost of breakfast is too high for what is offered. I wish there were a la carte choices rather than all or nothing. The location is within easy access to motorways; no real public transportation nearby--so a car is essential.

Novotel Bussigny is a great hotel, with perfect service, a nice breakfast and comfortable accommodations. Its location is also great, if you have a car and want to visit the region around Lausanne. It is close enough to Lausanne, but I would not know how to get there by bus, and it would probably take some time. The hotel is really ideal to have easy and fast access by car to the main roads linking Lausanne to some key cities like Geneva, Neuchatel, Fribourg and Bern.

Have stayed here on two occassions, both for business. Location is conveniently close to the freeway and a short drive to the center of the city, the train station for getting to Geneva or elsewhere and at least in my case, close to my customers. The hotel is remodeled, tredny and boutigue style with efficient and sizeable rooms. It has a very nice outdoors area, but have never been able to enjoy it. Staff is multilingual and courteous. Nice hotel for the money...no complaints.

This is a practical location to stay in the area if you are doing business and need quick access to the highway. It is off the beaten path with little access to practical amenities. Hotels states that it is 4-star, but it is really a 3+. Comfortable, clean, professional, sterile, practical...for business it is fine.If you are seeking a tourist locations, I recommend staying in the city.
