Cheap and cheerfull although shower room need a little bit of attention. Overall for the price I think it was very good with breakfast thrown in for the kids.

Novotel Nottingham East Midlands: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Tennis Tournament in Nottingham"

Stayed at the Novotel for several nights attending a tennis tournament. Cannot remember staying at a hotel with such friendly staff. Getting into the city (Tennis Centre) for 9am took about 20 minutes but normally took 10 . The only minor criticism was the price of meals at the hotel = but there are alternatives nearby.

The corridors seemed as if they are ready for a makeover but having said that it was excellent value for what we paid and the breakfast was also very good.Whilst the hotel is almost on the side of the M1 the rooms are very well soundproofed .

I have stayed at this particular hotel before and it was ideal for the client i had to visit.Its comfortable and clean and staff are great..My only gripe: I drink cider and a bottle of Bulmers cider £5.00+ this is the most expensive bottle of cider i have bough anywhere in the UK.Clearly we are all here to make money but at that price it really is ridiculously expensive.I am soon syating at you Mercure in Cardiff, i hope the prices arent the same there.

This used to be owned by another chain but is much improved now and looks more 'cared for' The one night stay was extremely good value for money. Staff were pleasant and rooms well serviced. Didn't have the breakfast on this occasion but previously enjoyed a a good cooked breakfast though I persoanally hate the buffet style. Will definitely come back.

Although this hotel is one i use alot due to its great location and reasonable cost, i do feel it is rather outdated now and in need of some tidying up. On our previous stay my partner had to repair the bath himself where house keeping wasnt really interested and this stay we had to buy batteries for the tv remote as no new ones were available from reception.

This Novotel is a in need of some refurbishment, not the usual standard you would expect from the Novotel brand. Generally clean & staff friendly. Unfortunately the restaurant was full until after 9pm and they stopped taking bar food orders as they were too busy!. It would have been nice to have been advised at check in. Overall an OK stay.

The location of this Hotel is ideal, just 300 metres off the M1. Rooms tired and in need of some TLC but rest of Hotel superb, could not ask any more from the warm, friendly and efficient staff who made my stay very enjoyable.

Novotel Nottingham East Midlands: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Excellent value for money"

I booked this hotel when traveliing with a colleague and found it to be excellent value for money. It is convenient for East Midlands Airpport but a bit far out of Nottingham itself. The hotel is clean and the staff are very helpful. The breakfast is excellent.

Novotel Nottingham East Midlands: 1.0 out of 5 stars "No Airconditioning = No Sleep"

I would have rated my stay much more highly but the airconditioning did not work which meant it was hot, stuffy and very unpleasant in the room. The dial on the wall did not work so there was little option for me once I had gone to bed - I was tired and not prepared to repack and move rooms. You will know about this problem and have done nothing to sort it out - this is just the way it works in places like yours I am afraid.
