Great location, great service, good restaurant, bright decor but tired bathroom - highly recommended for airport stopover but why do locals get 50% discount?

Ideal location if you are just passing through, a bit far from the sights, but safe and secure. Typical of Egypt, lots of cigarette smoke in common areas. Associates of the hotel (car hire/tours) went above and beyond to assist us. Hotel staff also friendly and accommodating. Rooms basic but quiet (double doors/double glazing). Good cheap option.

The room had insufficient toiletries and much of the bathroom equipment was nonoperational. I requested the reception to do something about this, however till the day I checked out, nothing was done. The AC control in the room was not working normally. The temperature cut off needs someone to take a look at.

dirty rooms, disgusting food, broken lights. wake up call came 20 minutes late. Good service at pickup from airport was the only good thing about this dump. The rooms haven't been renovated in what appears to have been 20 years. Terrible, just terrible.

Service at this hotel needs more attention to customers needs.Also they need to act more professionally in matter of settling bill etc..I was charged double room charge on my credit card for a room that was pre paid 2 weeks ahead and was promised to refund that back. But a refund takes up to a month so this is basically holding my money for a month.Hotel has good potentials but the service is not of a Novotel standards.
