I stayed here for one night and paid almost 600,000 rupiahs. This hotel is very poor value for money. Avoid it. Pay a little more and stay somewhere better. - Bluebird taxi: From the airport to the hotel the fare is approximately 120,000 rupiah. Strangely, bluebird drivers never have any change on them. This is a scam as they want you to hand over big notes to them so that they can keep your change. And bluebird taxis are suppose to be the most reliable and trustworthy in Jakarta!!! - Check in: I arrived at 1430 hours. Check in is after 1300 hours. I was told my room is not ready. What a joke! They kept me waiting at reception and did not have a clue what they are doing. Total panic and confusion at reception. - Breakfast: Selection of breakfast very limited, cold and poor. Worst breakfast I have ever had in my life!!! Reception at the breakfast desk can not even speak English. What a joke!!! Overall, this hotel does not even deserve a 1 out of 5. it should be -10 out of 5. Given that its a European brand its standards are very poor from check in to breakfast. I will never stay here again. Avoid it.

Pros: - Location is fantastic, walking distances to popular shopping places - Nice view of the railway and comfortable study table facing that same view Cons: - Dirty linens and towels (one towel was so dirty there were several brown stripes (hopefully not human waste) - Aircon broke down at 4am, decided to call them up at 6am and then fixed within 30 mins - Breakfast was said to last until 12pm. 10am onwards only breads were available. Apparently when we went down at 11.30pm, no such breads - Our 12th floor was supposed to be non-smoking, but at night the corridor was smoky. Some guests must have been smoking. Receptionist need to warn guests more aggressively about no-smoking policy

Very cool location: 30 meters from the IT mall and right into a night market for a local experience. The hotel is located close to an exit of the highway, so that arriving from the airport does not require to get stuck into the infamous Jakarta traffic.

The hotel is very old building and scary, especially I stayed in new building Ibis Trans Bandung right before this trip. Looks renovated for basic needs. Room amenities worked well surprisingly. Convenient walking-distance to Mangga Dua Mall, ITC shopping. Breakfast menu can be improved (fried rice tasted awful). Avoid the Spa as the therapist was very active (obsessive) offering useless stuff like oil with added spices and useless treatments where we are trying to get a quiet moment to relax.

The location is perfect for those who like to shop in the mangga dua area. Hotel is very convenient and comfort. Room is clean and have a good view, It's a pleasure stay in here. Unfortunately didnt try the food in the hotel

I've stayed in this hotel for 9 days. So far I enjoy stay in this hotel. The staff are responsive, and they quite friendly. The location also good, just in front of Pasar Pagi Mangga Dua. And in the evening, many street vendors around.

everything else about the hotel is great except for a quite major setback for my family. There was no minifridge. the other time when I came, the mini fridge was there. This time, i booked 6 rooms in total. and there were no minifridge in all of them. will not be getting this hotel anymore considering we always book for 4days and more and fridge is a major issue to store baby products..

Clean and reliable service. Quiet and peaceful, just the right place to rest the mind and body, however if you need to go bazaar style shopping, there are many roadside stalls selling all kind of things just walking distance away.The lobby needs more sitting area though.

As i entered the room it had a stale smell and after the first use of the toilet the toilet floor starts to accumulate water. At first, i thought it was from the ceiling, but then after the maintenance guy came, he said it was from the bidet.I requested for a new room and they told me they would help with the luggage, but no one came and the fruits as compensation came rather late. In the new room I had another shock to as the bath towel was dirty, stained and smell of cockroaches.They offered me a dinner in compensation but I would rather have a fresh clean towel to begin with.This is my third visit at ibis mangga dua and the experience has just deteriorated over the years.
