"OK when you have to be in the Marignane area"

I've always found that 4 starts for Novotels are a little bit of a stretch. This one in particular is OK, but just so. It's located in an industrial area with nowhere to go, unless you have a car, which you often don´t, as you take advantage of the hotel shuttle from the airport.With this mobility constraint, the restaurant's choice of food is somewhat limited.Rooms are OK in size, but the bathroom is a little basic.Service is good. People are nice and helpful, and flexible when you have a problem.I miss fitness facilities, and resorted to running in the neighbourhood.
"Awful and not worth the money at all"

We stayed overnight here on our way to Cannes as the drive all the way in one go was too much, but the only good thing about it was that it wasn't too far from the motorway. Staff were unhappy and unhelpful when we checked in, then the room WREAKED of mould but we were told we couldn't change rooms as they were full. The room was supposed to be superior but there was nothing superior about it. Carpet was old and smelly and decor was awful. Food was expensive and not worth the money and the restaurant staff were just as awful as check-in staff, took ages to be served and food was neither worth the wait nor the money. I asked for 4 pillows as we were a family of 4 but was told they didn't have any more, they onoly had square coushin like things. THEN we found a huge cockroach in the bathroom in the morning. DEFINITELY NEVER staying here again and has probably put em off novotel altogether.
