"Our regular overnight hotel gets better!"
15th May 2012, JerseyEnRoute, Jersey, United Kingdom
Really nice surprise to arrive at a hotel we have used regularly over the years to find that the rooms have been renovated and now also include a walk-in shower in the bathroom. As we live in Jersey the hotel is an ideal stop after taking the evening ferry or prior to returning on the morning boat. Prices are now more competitive than I can ever recall in the past and offers brilliant value for money. We stayed on a Friday evening and I cannot recall seeing the car park so empty, forget the cheaper alternatives stay here!
"Very child friendly"
20th April 2012, M00key, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom
Second visit to this hotel - both times have found it very child friendly. Small play area, gifts for the children on arrival, outdoor pool (not heated).
"Good location for a one night stop with car before driving elsewhere"
25th February 2012, Jersey
Generally the hotel offers good quality accommodation at the right price. BUT we do wish that the "cooked" elements of the breakfast could be served HOT - nobody likes cold scrambled eggs. with cold sausages, with cold bacon...!
"Rennes stop over"
15th August 2011, Wareham
Hotel is close to the ring road, which is good for easy access. Staff are all very good english speakers, i did try to speak some french though! Bathrooms are modern and very clean, the main bed was incredibily comfortable, great sleep. If you don't have a map or sat nav it can be hard to find the hotel, as the signs for the hotel are not always available.
"Holiday"
11th August 2011, Petersfield
We have stayed here for about 8 years every July whilst travelling on holiday. This time we felt the the usual high standard of accomodation, although we were near the renovation end was old and noisy. The Restuarant menu was not as good as it has been as it has been changed in the last year. The breakfasts are very expensive ie nearly £50 for a family of four. But the staff have remained as friendly and helpful as ever. Your biggest asset.
"Comfortable and comforting overnight stop"
31st July 2011, DPJP, Cornwall
This was our second visit. A convenient overnight stop for us, on a long journey through France. Comfortable room. Food available late into the evening. Friendly staff. Even a pool, but, it was not quite warm enough to use that. Easy access from the main road. Decent parking. We shall use it again.
"Novotel"
20th April 2011, YORK
Stayed here having stayed with Novotel before in other parts of France and knew what to expect .Not a luxury hotel but a clean comfortable place to stay and to use as a base when visiting a that particular area. Staff were friendly, helpful and smiled. Rooms were cleaned, sheets changed, just as you would expect. Choice at breakfast was good and evening meal available if required, also room service.Secure car park. near enough to shops but without the noise etc. Would there stay again .
"Trip to France"
21st December 2010, Guernsey
Often people will complain when things go wrong and never say anything when things are good but we stayed in the Novotel Bordeaux airport in November and the one in Rennes in December and We were impressed with the hotel and the more modern furnishings and the staff in both- were friendly and helpfull -well done
