Excellent hotel spoiled by unbearably hot room

The room was nicely furnished with comfortable beds. The television was huge, but it was disappointing there was only one English language channel available. The shower was excellent. The restaurant offered good food at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, we all had a terrible night's sleep as the room was really hot and the air conditioning only blew out hot air even when on cool mode.

We found the room cramped for a family and the beds were pretty uncomfortable. The bathroom had been refurbished and was nice. Dinner was pretty average but everyone enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

Hotel has had a makeover but it has been very poorly done and makes the hotel look very shabby. The air conditioning did not work and actually made the room much hotter. Breakfast wasn’t great, poorly laid out and very limited options for things like fruit. The booking was very expensive, so it was a disappointing stay.

Beautiful lobby, decent room, quiet. Giant TV. Good towels and nicely equipped modern main bath and shower. The separate toilet area was somewhat Stalinesque.
