I really enjoyed everything in this hotel! Well, it's not in Nice, actually, but a bus stop is just 100 m from the hotel (take bus 52 to get to the city) and a train station SNCF is about 5 min to walk. The breakfasts there are really good, just like their rooms and a very friendly and professional staff. The beach is very close to the hotel, there are lots of restos in the promenade. CAP3000, a shopping mall, is also very close to the hotel. A free shuttle to the airport is also worth mentioning)This hotel is a good choice if you wish to spend a few nights before flying home)

The hotel is actually situated the other side of the River Var from the airport, and is not to be confused with other nearby Novotels; but a convenient free Shuttle Bus, which you need to phone for, fetches you from Terminal One to St Laurent. The hotel reception staff are very helpful, and some take turns at driving the Shuttle Bus (La Navette). The swimming pool is small but clean and in the sun until early evening. I discovered a peaceful and pretty long walk on the banks of the River Var. It's not well signed, but the railway station is only a short walk from the hotel and has a frequent service to Nice or Cannes. Nearby you have a range of shops, including a large supermarket. St Laurent front is packed with restaurants of every type (have I ever seen so many next to each other?) but we chose to eat in, where the food was better priced, the service attentive, and the meal can be added to your hotel bill. You have the choice of eating outside or in. The rooms are quiet and you are totally unaware of air traffic or thunderstorms outside. Heavy curtains keep all the light out overnight. Hotel staff are friendly and businesslike.
"Good value hotel near the airport"

We stayed in this hotel the night before catching a flight home. The hotel is very conveniently located near the airport opposite the shopping centre of Cap3000. The pool is quite small, which when busy can be a problem but is otherwise fine. We didn't eat in the hotel but walked down to the nearby promenade on the beach where there are numerous restaurants to chose from. The rooms are fine, nothing special but clean and reasonably appointed. Wi-fi was free.

Wonderful staff friendly and helpful. great location for shopping. the beach is a few meters away, Lovely restaurants on the promanade and the port. Bus tranportation steps away a short walk to the train.

The location is great - if you need to be near the airport. Considering what airport hotels can be like, this is much better. The service was fantastic - no problem taking us to airport for free and they even picked us up when we arrived at the wrong Novotel (our mistake!). Pool is small but there is a pool and the nearby bars and restaurants make for a perfect last night to your stay in the Nice area.
"NO second room key"

Minuses:A) no second room key. I asked twice both in the evening and the following morning.No way.B) no bathrobe for swimming pool, at the reception they give you a small towel.Plus: protected car parking : it opens only if you enter your room key personal code.

We have stayed at this hotel on many occasions, at this stay, there were some maitanance work getting carried out, which made it a bit noisy, otherwise the staff were as good as ever and the shuttle service to and from the airport makes it an absolutely ideal place to stay. Will be back soon.
