Novotel Bordeaux le Lac: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Will stay again"

1st August 2013, LVIT2076, Sydney, Australia

This is the 2nd time that we (2 adults and 2 kids) staid in this hotel for leisure. The staff is always nice and helpful. Always smiling and very efficient. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Location is great. Will go back again.

Novotel Bordeaux le Lac: 1.0 out of 5 stars "Never book this hotel online!"

25th February 2013, finney66, New Haven, Connecticut, USA

If you book this hotel online and have to make ANY changes whatsoever, you forfeit your prepurchase amount. I lost €282.00 for 3 nights stay, because my trip got delayed three weeks due to local industrial action. I couldn't even get any reimbursement towards food.

Novotel Bordeaux le Lac: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Disappointing breakfast"

12th September 2011, London, United Kingdom

very very disappointing breakfast buffet, stone cold scrambled eggs completely inedible, sausages cold and grissly, no milk dispenser near the cereals, very poor value for money (16 Euros), staff were friendly enough but I'd rather not see any staff and have a decent meal

Novotel Bordeaux le Lac: 3.0 out of 5 stars "One night stay"

4th August 2011, St Ouen

The hotel exterior is unappealing and the room lacked character. Everything worked well and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our evening meal was fine. Breakfast was rather crowded. The swimming pool was welcome as was the play area for children. More kit would help here: a swing and a climbing frame perhaps. The local area information seemed good with jogging routes (around the lake) and church services (including the EF Mass). The 15 minutes of internet access on the computer was good: a second computer would help.It seemed expensive, nearly €200 for 2 adults and 1 young child for one night, but this might reflect local rates.

Novotel Bordeaux le Lac: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good for family"

25th July 2011, Paris

I felt that the hotel is kind for kids (TV game, amenities, 4 person a room). I would like to stay again for wine tour again! One thing I missed is that the person at check in/out counter did not give me a receipt.

Novotel Bordeaux le Lac: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Family Visit"

9th July 2011, Montreal

We were in Bordeaux to visit with family and found this location to be ideal. On the first leg of our trip we had a room with lake view which is beautiful and quiet. We asked at checkout for the same room for our second visit but were given a room on the street side - not ideal as there was construction. Front Desk said on check-in (12h30) that there were no lake side rooms available. This is a basic good for value site.
