Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacre Coeur: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Mother/daughter trip"

10th May 2012, watzy, clifton park, ny

My daughter has been to Paris several times, loves the Montemarte area and has previously stayed at this hotel. It is convenient for visiting Sacre Coer and Montemarte. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were nicely appointed with all the amenities we needed. It's location is the only drawback if you are in Paris to see the sights - be prepared to take the Metro (not far from the hotel) or pay for a cab.

Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacre Coeur: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Paris stay"

30th April 2012, lance_duk, London, United Kingdom

I stayed at the hotel for two nights. As a Business traveller, I felt let down with the overall value offered by this hotel. The rooms are not equipped with an iron and on enquiry found there was a small ironing room at the end of the corridor which was a long walk away from my room, thus causing unexpected delay in my packed schedule. The air conditioning of my room was not working in the nights and when I checked with the reception next morning the staff mentioned that previous nite someone else had complained that their room was getting very cold and so it implied the whole central system was probably shut down, what happened to the regulators in each rooms I wonder? I was not able to add the bar expenses to my room as there was no deposit paid it was explained (didnt understand that either when I had checked into the hotel and had been allocated a room). I found this very suprising as I am used to settling the bills at the time of departure. Overall poor value for me.

Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacre Coeur: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Wet carpet"

13th April 2012, Simo_Oulu_Finland, Oulu, Finland

Booked two rooms. The other room had wet carpet and cleaning lady's rug lying on the floor when we entered the room. We called the receptionist and explained the situation to her. She told it to the cleaning lady who came and was happy to find the missing rug but did not understand what to do to the wet carpet! So the carpet remained wet. This gave us a bit negative first expression of the hotel. However, during our short stay we found the staff was assistive and helpful, rooms were clean and the breakfast was fine.

Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacre Coeur: 5.0 out of 5 stars "My favorite hotel in paris"

10th February 2012, Paris, France

from the best hotels ive stayed in, it meets all my requirements; with a very clean and spacious room unlike many other hotels and fancy as well..the location is almost beside everything in paris..only 5 metro stations to the champselysee..10 minutes walk to the sacrecoeur..cinema,restaurants,supermarkets very near by as well as fastfood rest as mac and kfc

Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacre Coeur: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Excellent Location"

7th February 2012

This was our 3rd or 4th stay at this hotel booked with a special offer from Accor Hotels. We chose a superior room this time which was very spacious & comfortable. Worth the extra & we especially appreciated the bath, tea/coffee making facilities & the view of the Eiffel Tower from our 5th floor room. The room was a little too warm if anything but we were glad of this at it was below freezing outside. We had breakfast at the hotel which was very good but expensive at eur18 pp. We stay here because we can walk to the centre of town or Montmartre quite easily. We take the train from CDG airport to Gare du Nord, then the metro to Place Clichy, a few minutes from the hotel. There are plenty of places to eat in the vicinity & we particularly enjoyed the food at the small Italian restaurant practically opposite the hotel. Very good & very reasonable. Our only complaint with the hotel was that they ran out of draft beer during our stay.

Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacre Coeur: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great location"

25th January 2012, Wellington, New Zealand

Very handy for Metro and Gare de Nord. Good spot to walk from also with the Sacre Coeur close by and also the bustling streets of Montmatre. Nothing in Paris is cheap, but we found this area less expensive than most for eating out. We paid extra for a room on the upper floor - the view was great and we could see the Eiffel Tower but this would not always be the case if you were on the other side. Room was big enough with a good bathroom layout. Would recommend and stay again.

Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacre Coeur: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great place"

19th January 2012

I can only recommend this hotel, you will not regret if you book it. Location is very good. I find rooms big enough. Staff friendly. I got 50% discount on booking so this was really good deal. I would definetly fo there again.

Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacre Coeur: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Pleasant stay in central Paris"

12th January 2012, AdamGoodfellow, York, United Kingdom

The hotel has a convenient location close to three metro stations and Montmartre. On the downside it's also only a couple of minutes walk from the red light district, but that is avoidable. The receptionist staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the room and hotel in general were clean and tidy. There was free wifi in the room, and a nice bathroom with a shower over the bath. Despite the proximity of a major road, the room was very quiet at night. The only flaw with the stay was the breakfast, which was quite plain. On the whole though, I'm glad I booked this stay with a 40% discount offer - even at that price I wouldn't consider it particularly value for money.

Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacre Coeur: 4.0 out of 5 stars "My thoughts"

5th September 2011, Avondale

Great Location. Reasonably priced restaurants just out the door. Metro Stop a 30 second walk and a grocery store and pharmacy within a 2 min walk. Rooms are tiny but to be expected for Paris. Also free mini bar as a bonus.

Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacre Coeur: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Enjoyed Our Stay at the Mercure Paris Montmartre!"

25th July 2011, Fuquay Varina

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights. It is very clean with a very courteous staff. It is close to a metro station which takes you very quickly to all of the prime locations in Paris. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, but they checked our luggage and we walked to a lovely cafe nearby for a wonderful lunch. We would definitely stay here again!

Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacre Coeur: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Clean and Comfortable"

15th July 2011, Frankfurt am Main

We stayed in the Privilege Room with views over the rooftops of Paris. They room was a good size and not too small and, considering how expensive Paris can be, good value for money. The view was lovely. A few of our amenities were broken (the shower head could not be raised and the windows would not open). The hotel also lost power for several hours during one afternoon/evening of our stay. As we were up on the 9th floor the noise with the windows shut was minimal and the bed was comfy. I would recommend this hotel as I think it is probably one of the nicest affordable hotels in Paris.
