"Excellent hotel in excellent location"
2nd March 2013, paulinecooper14, Gloucester, United Kingdom
Excellent hotel in the Montmartre area. 15 mins walk from Sacre Coeur, 5 mins from Moulin Rouge and 2 mins to the Metro. Hotel was very clean. We stayed in a privelage room which was on the top floor and had amazing views over Paris to the Eiffel Tower. Easy check in and check out. Didn't use the restaurant but plenty of cafes nearby where breakfast was much cheaper. We ate in a couple of local french restaurants in Rue Lepic in the Montmartre area only 5 mins walk up the hill to the Sacre Coeur. We would definately return and recommend this hotel.

"Great Paris atmosphere"
14th January 2013, Craig_Tapper, Sydney, NSW
Really ideal for Sacre Cour, Moulin Rouge and the other things that Montmarte has to offer. Nice rooms and reasonable service - great if you want to stay a little out of the main Paris tourist haunts but still readily accessible via a nearby Metro line.

"Excellent Hotel in Good Location"
2nd January 2013, Mouette63, Gloucestershire
The title says it all. The hotel was very good value, the staff efficient and freindly and I had no complaints at all. Mercure lived up to its usual high standards. No more to say even though Tripadvisor want at least 200 characters

"Nice Stay, good location"
28th November 2012, ColMcK, Cheshire
Easy to get to from Gare du Nord, 50 yards from metro station. We had a superior room, very nice and reasonable size for Paris with view of Eiffel Tower. Take a walk left out of the hotel and up the hill to the back of sacre coeur, very nice and avoids all the hawkers at the entrance to sacre coeur if you access it from the funicular side.

"Paris Long weekend."
11th October 2012, johnnyb381, Dundee, United Kingdom
My wife and I have been going to Paris for the horseracing for about 10yrs now but lately have stayed in flats or appartment blocks. The cost of this lovely hotel was very reasonable compared to what are normally very small and not always very atractive flats. The room we had was a superior with a view of the Eiffel Tower and was a very lrage and lovely room. If you turn left, walk across the bridge to the corner and turn right, about 5/10 minutes, you are on the Rue Abbesse which is full of lovely bars and reaturants. It is not cheap but lovely. Nor much further up is the Sacre Coeur which is a must for fist time visitors. We would certainly stay again and will likely be back next year. JB, Scotland.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is very good for enjoying a stay in Paris and the rooms are of a good size for a Parisian hotel. The rooms are also clean and comfortable. Would use again.

"Lovely location for Montmartre"
20th May 2012, Stowkate, Braintree, United Kingdom
I had a lovely stay, just for one night in this hotel - fortunately the weather was excellent! Easy walking distance for Montmartre with lots of cafes in the area. Very pleasant area of Paris. Also right next to Montmartre Cemetry where you can find Emile Zola & Berlioz - unfortunately couldn't find Degas though! Would strongly recommend as a good hotel for a solo traveller - I felt safe walking back to the hotel after dinner on my own.

"Mother/daughter trip"
10th May 2012, watzy, clifton park, ny
My daughter has been to Paris several times, loves the Montemarte area and has previously stayed at this hotel. It is convenient for visiting Sacre Coer and Montemarte. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were nicely appointed with all the amenities we needed. It's location is the only drawback if you are in Paris to see the sights - be prepared to take the Metro (not far from the hotel) or pay for a cab.

"Paris stay"
30th April 2012, lance_duk, London, United Kingdom
I stayed at the hotel for two nights. As a Business traveller, I felt let down with the overall value offered by this hotel. The rooms are not equipped with an iron and on enquiry found there was a small ironing room at the end of the corridor which was a long walk away from my room, thus causing unexpected delay in my packed schedule. The air conditioning of my room was not working in the nights and when I checked with the reception next morning the staff mentioned that previous nite someone else had complained that their room was getting very cold and so it implied the whole central system was probably shut down, what happened to the regulators in each rooms I wonder? I was not able to add the bar expenses to my room as there was no deposit paid it was explained (didnt understand that either when I had checked into the hotel and had been allocated a room). I found this very suprising as I am used to settling the bills at the time of departure. Overall poor value for me.

"Wet carpet"
13th April 2012, Simo_Oulu_Finland, Oulu, Finland
Booked two rooms. The other room had wet carpet and cleaning lady's rug lying on the floor when we entered the room. We called the receptionist and explained the situation to her. She told it to the cleaning lady who came and was happy to find the missing rug but did not understand what to do to the wet carpet! So the carpet remained wet. This gave us a bit negative first expression of the hotel. However, during our short stay we found the staff was assistive and helpful, rooms were clean and the breakfast was fine.

"My favorite hotel in paris"
10th February 2012, Paris, France
from the best hotels ive stayed in, it meets all my requirements; with a very clean and spacious room unlike many other hotels and fancy as well..the location is almost beside everything in paris..only 5 metro stations to the champselysee..10 minutes walk to the sacrecoeur..cinema,restaurants,supermarkets very near by as well as fastfood rest as mac and kfc
"Excellent Location"
7th February 2012
This was our 3rd or 4th stay at this hotel booked with a special offer from Accor Hotels. We chose a superior room this time which was very spacious & comfortable. Worth the extra & we especially appreciated the bath, tea/coffee making facilities & the view of the Eiffel Tower from our 5th floor room. The room was a little too warm if anything but we were glad of this at it was below freezing outside. We had breakfast at the hotel which was very good but expensive at eur18 pp. We stay here because we can walk to the centre of town or Montmartre quite easily. We take the train from CDG airport to Gare du Nord, then the metro to Place Clichy, a few minutes from the hotel. There are plenty of places to eat in the vicinity & we particularly enjoyed the food at the small Italian restaurant practically opposite the hotel. Very good & very reasonable. Our only complaint with the hotel was that they ran out of draft beer during our stay.

"Great location"
25th January 2012, Wellington, New Zealand
Very handy for Metro and Gare de Nord. Good spot to walk from also with the Sacre Coeur close by and also the bustling streets of Montmatre. Nothing in Paris is cheap, but we found this area less expensive than most for eating out. We paid extra for a room on the upper floor - the view was great and we could see the Eiffel Tower but this would not always be the case if you were on the other side. Room was big enough with a good bathroom layout. Would recommend and stay again.
"Great place"
19th January 2012
I can only recommend this hotel, you will not regret if you book it. Location is very good. I find rooms big enough. Staff friendly. I got 50% discount on booking so this was really good deal. I would definetly fo there again.
