great location, great rooms, great service. a little expensive, but worth the extra $$. stayed for 2 days, the location is perfect if you want to see nice (as in the beach). Rock beach right on the other side of the promenade des anglais. a little loud at night, but that needs to be expected being on the promenade.

renewed hotel, stylish rooms (we had sea view), rooms rather small, balcony is not really a balcony.breakfast was ok, overall i have to say it was worth the money.

Great location and decent rooms but it would have been honest to specify at the time of the reservation or at check inthat the air conditionning was not in service until after april 15th! Having opted , and paid premium for a deluxe room facing the sea I had a horrible night ,due to the heat. The staff was apologetic the next day but could only offer me a lesser quality room facing a courtyard.By not having southern exposure it should be less hot at night...In the package there was hot beverages in the room except that the coffee machine was not functionning , leaking.During four days I reported it every day.Despite their best efforts no one could fix it , replace it...Offering breakfast would have been the right thing to do but no one at the front desk was empowered to do so.This hotel has a great potential but the rates were too high for the quality of services.

The room was very good but needs a drryer, shoes sponge cleaner and a more soft bed.Breakfast is very good but needs some fish meat beside everything there. A positive point would be if the hotel would have a small bar or something like this. It' s very important you have refurbished the hotel. Looks nice and clean. I am staying at your hotel every time I come in Nice.Otherwise, good luck!

We stayed here for a long weekend that coincided with the start of Carnival. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the Hop on Hop off bus stop, Old Nice with all its restaurants and bars are a 5 minute stroll away. reception staff were very friendly and breakfast was efficient and what we have come to expect from this brand, having stayed a several other Mercures in France.

Excellent hotel for location , value and comfort. Hotel bedrooms completely refurbished. very friendly and helpful reception staff.. Excellent value for money and excellent breakfast. Cleanliness a top priority for housekeeping staff.

Spolit by lack of a chair in the bedroom. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast could keep you going all day.Excellent position for the amenities of Nice, good Restaurants close by. Bus stop for the airport, at the front of the hotel.

The best thing about the hotel was its great location, everything within walking distance and the garden room we had gave us fabulous views over the sea, the promenade and the lovely gardens closeby. We stayed for four nights and can only say that the room was excellent, very clean, with a lovely comfortable bed. The room was kept very clean throughout our stay. The only slight drawback was that there was no restaurant or bar in the hotel, but there were plenty of places nearby, including some that made great breakfasts. We plan to come to this area again and will probably stay at this hotel again.

we were really enjoy our trip at Nice, hotel location is very strategic just few steps from the beach and the few were fantastic, easy to find nice food and restaurants. I' ll stay at Mercure des Anglais again for my next holiday.

great location, and value for money. Staff were friendly and effcient. Clean and spacious room. It woul dhave been nice to have special access to beach, as we could not get a chair on a Sunday, if the hotel had a small reserved spot for us, that would have been great.

Great location but difficult to find if you are driving as there is no sign on the front road.Great guy on reception, excellent spoken English and very friendly as were all the staff.Marked down on value, but that applies to all hotels in Nice (Very overpriced, but I guess that is the going rate).

Our stay was very pleasent. The hotel has a very good location right in the middle of everything and the people working in the reception were more than nice to us; helping us makeking table reservations on restaurants and just looking after our weelbeeing.Absolutely a hotel we will com back to visit.
