"Nice Hotel"

We were very happy with the staff and the hotel. The restaurant was in a very pleasant room and the staff offered a pleasant service.

Booked 2 rooms, 1 to have disabled facilities. nothing availablefor my handicapped mother.television did not work properly food available not what listed on the boardat the time of departure i was asked to pay again, very embarrassing in front of my relationsapparently they did not have a record of my advanced credit card paymenti have used accor hotels before, well, never again i'm afraid
"Not up to standard"

We have stayed at two Accor hotels in Brive....the Ibis and this Mercure. This one should be a Formula hotel instead of a Mercure. The rooms are substandard for a Mercure; the temperature is unregualted (too warm), and although a non-smoking room it had a heavy smoke aroma. English is definite not used here! This is the only Accor hotel that we have encountered that did not have at least one English TV channel. And both the front desk and resturant have limited ability with English. The menu was in French only and the selections were difficult to understand even with the use of guides and dictionaries. We will not stayed in this hotel again. We liked the Ibis better.
