"Fantastic staff"

Touring France on motorcycles, we needed a spare part to be posted from UK and the hotel was the logical place for delivery/collection. Time was tight but the part was essential for the return leg. The parcel hadn't arrived when we checked in, but staff went out of their way to get to the local post office in the morning to fetch it. This was my third stay in Annecy and second at this hotel. Will be returning again one day. Fantastic.

A very comfortable hotel which catered to all requirements - rooms clean and comfortable, public areas very clean and attractive. Exterior well cared for and car parking very welcome. The restaurant and terrace lovely and very well kept - breakfasts had an excellent selection with plentiful amounts. Staff were attentive, informative and very friendly. The swimming pool was a very welcome bonus for the price. Negatives :refreshments in the room - both guests preferred same type of tea and coffee but only 1 portion of each type was supplied and not quite enough milk for 2 people.

Excellent value (we pre-booked & pre-paid through cashback site), hotel is in a convenient easy to find edge of town location, about 15-20mins walk to Annecy centre if you choose to leave your car in the ample secure car park.

The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, the room was adequate with good air-con and the bed comfortable. Restaurant service was very good at dinner and breakfast. The location was not qute as good as we had expected but we would stay there again.

normally we went to ibis hotels but sometimes to Mercure (Lyon mid town )which we thought to be of higher standard . The service was friendly and helpful but the surrounding, the hotel inside (restaurant, the way to the rooms etc were very down and in an old state like old motels in american old films.... the room itself was clean and the bath as well so the beds. The entrance was smelly and not well aired for a welcome to a hotel.
