Great Novotel in Basel

Excellent hotel in Basel with clean and comfortable room. Great shower. Food is good but Menu is a little limited. Breakfast however was outstanding with huge choice. Congratulations to the Front Desk staff (particularly Charline) who were kind and welcoming.

It was freezing cold in room when I entered. When I turned up A/C to maximum it was not even blowing a warm air. Doors to the room was creaking so loud, it should be fixed.

It was a standart staying at a Hotel Positive items: * Information persons are friendly and gentle * Room price * Other customer type * Car park * Wifi, room cleaning, furniture quality and city public transportation ticket Negative items: * Location of the hotel is not so close to the city center * Enterance of the car park from the main road (I found it difficulty, there may be a good idea to put a sign on the road) * Minibar (there was only two little bottle of water and crema for coffee)

For additional minibar items, there is a new food wall at the reception which offers snacks and various drinks for sale. Regarding your comment about power sockets, we understand your concerns and therefore have international adapters which you can borrow from reception during your stay.
