I already gave a thorough review through the hotels.com survey, but here are the summaries of key points again. The reasons for the overall experience being 3/10, are the following: - rooms quite warm, A/C not working - beds, sheets, pillows below average quality - room very very small (smaller than even what it looks on pictures), and not adequate for 2 adults + 2 small kids - the room and overall hotel interior needs a big renovation, if I can be honest - room cleaning was unfortunately not good (including small things like checking/emptying the bin, providing toilette paper, checking-refilling the soap...) - very poor - almost non existent - view from the room. even though our room was facing the park - the employees could be a bit more friendly and welcoming...e.g. a simple good morning or hello when you pass by, is something very little, but says a lot - no guest events (at least nothing that we saw...could be something for kids, or cheese tasting...or anything to animate the guests in the evening...) other than than, the good thing about the hotel is that it's location is VERY good (8/10) and it could turn into a beauty if it was renovated fully inside + outside, added terraces (towards the park)...etc

I really enjoy the stay in Novotel Toulouse Compans. The check in was very smooth. The room was spacious and quiet with good view of the garden. The breakfast was excellent with good range of warm and cold food. The staff were very nice with good level of language. Overall I recommend to stay in this hotel for business trip.

More work to do to warm the atmosphere of the lobby and the rooms. I could not control the room temperature. The area is quiet and don't expect to find shops or restaurants around although you are in the city center. I was unfortunate to have my room window giving on a wall.

For the attention of the general manager ( Mr Lionel): My stay at your hotel , was unpleasant and I left with bad memories. 1. There was no room service and the room wasn’t cleaned while we were away. The receptionist claimed the cleaner recorded the room as cleaned but that wasn’t the case. She had to come up to take the trash away and brought sheets and towels. 2. Due to a language barrier, my son and a son of another guest assumed they could take a piece of croissants each when they asked the restaurant staff. Instead, a bill of £64 was charged to my room. I tried to protest, but the receptionist insisted I must pay before I checked out. She promised to send an email on my behalf to the manager, which she never did. Overall, my experience was poor and the staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Regards Gregory U.
