Well, stayed 2 years ago and not much has changed. The sunset deck should need a serious upgrade. I think they should have a vocal singer or some kind of entertainment to get guests out of their room for a cold brew and mingle with other guests, because unfortunately this hotel is absolutely dead at night time!! Main pool is good, but if you’re going to have an outdoor bar, just maybe you should open it up for your guests to enjoy!! The food for lunch and dinner is a lot over priced. 3 little small meals for dinner just cost me $77.00!!! Not good if you want people to come down for a snack and a drink!!! The rooms are nice and clean and the staff are very efficient in their jobs. Well done! Big problem for those who have difficulty in walking upstairs, there’s no elevators in some of the sections of units!! Can I go on, probably, but you will judge this place on your arrival if you choose visit! Good luck.

I am recently staying in this hotel for n room No . 209 the room is very nice and the bed making is excellent . The washroom also very nice and clean full of complementary. The staff are very friendly and always wear smiles on theirs face. Special thank you housekeeping boy Mr. Sanjay very good attitude and very hard word

I love this resort. It has a 80,s feel It's out and away from the gold coast city and it only 3 stories high and set amongst the palm trees which gives you that gold coast holiday feel It's very clean and they grounds are well keeped. The only down side is the restaurant bad service and food not great.i sent a message to the HM about his restaurant but he couldn't even bother to reply. We stayed a week here

This hotel is located on a golf course in a fairly quiet road in Carrara. I personally like the location away from the beach and the noise. I am scoring this as the Mercure Hotel- not Accor Vacation Club. We are a Accor Vacation Club member and stayed one night in a regular hotel room at the Mercure before moving into a Accor Vacation Club room the next night and where we stayed for the next 6 nights. The hotel room was in one block and the AVC room in another newly renovated block. We had come from the UAE where everything is impeccably clean and tidy and quite opulent and initially we were very disappointed with hotel room we had as it was quite dated and old. It was just a room that we couldn’t wait to get out of as paint missing, worn down, stained toilet floor, old bathroom. Actually nothing nice about it. Thank goodness, the beautifully renovated AVC room was lovely. Modern, new, clean with comfy furnishings. The bathroom was lovely and we really could not fault the room. Our outlook from our balcony was down the path as unfortunately we did not get the apartments with the ‘rural’ view. We ate in the restaurant twice and the food was very good. I was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Well priced, tasty and friendly staff. The parking was easy. Underground which is good with the heat. Nice to get into a coolish covered car. The pool that was near the block where we were (the smaller one) is not heated and very plain. Nothing enticing at all and a pool that I only had one quick swim in and would not bother swimming in again. The main pool is heated which was nice. But the area around the pool is tired. A couple of the umbrellas were very moldy with black patches all over them. There is a small shipping container they use as a bar? Right beside the pool. There appears to be no disguising it at all and it is quite ugly. There are tiles and grout missing from around the actual pool. There does not seem to be much effort to make this a nice, classy area which it could be quite easily. The entrance to the hotel also had dirty looking grout between the tiles. The entrance certainly needed a spruce up. I had had a friend who had stayed here from New Zealand. She told me what a great deal she got and the rooms and facilities were adequate for what they paid. When we were there, the specials were still to be had and I felt that the hotel was more like a ‘second cousin’. It was feeling a little like it needed some TLC especially if our initial hotel room was anything to go by. Our second Accor Vacation Club apartment was really lovely but I really do not think the public areas represent the Accor Vacation Clubs level of expectation at all.

Tenía un concepto diferente de la cadena de hoteles Mercure, siempre había recibido una excelente atención y servicio, pero no se si por tratarse de un hotel ‘campestre’, no tenían servicio de maletero, estaba lloviendo muy fuerte y no aofreciron colaboración alguna, hubo un error en l reserva y la respuesta de l recepcionista fue, llamen ustedes, el bufet del desayuno es básico, todos los días lo mismo… el precio del hotel en mi concepto no cubre para nada las expectativas ofrecidas en fotos por lo menos en ese de Mercure de Gold Coast

Lamentamos sinceramente que su estancia no haya cumplido con sus expectativas y que haya experimentado inconvenientes con el servicio de maletero, así como con el error en la reserva y la falta de variedad en el desayuno. Apreciamos sus comentarios y los hemos compartido con nuestro equipo de recepción y restaurante para tomar las medidas necesarias y garantizar que estos problemas no vuelvan a ocurrir en el futuro.
