Clean, tidy hotel. All facilities you need and lovely food . Staff very attentive, well worth a visit. We went for a weekend on a trip and chose this hotel as was dubious about the other hotels that were also offered on similar trips , (Grand National).

Got a really good deal on a two night stay with my family. The price included breakfast and the use of the gym and pool facilities. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and Irene behind the bar made sure the drinks were flowing. The breakfast had everything you could need for a good start to the day and coming down a bit late,one morning was no problem for the chef to make up extra food for their absent minded guests. The rooms were clean and all you needed for a comfortable stay Will definitely return.

Great welcome in particular Irene the bar lady was very hospitable and offered service with a warm smile. The front of house were helpful and accommodating. The welcome was much appreciated after a long and arduous journey. Very comfortable surroundings and excellent amenities.

Portugese lady on reception on arrival was lovely, pleasant and welcoming. Welcomed with a smile and nice and chatty. Restaurant was closed and thus served in bar, next to no food available so ended up with soup for a meal with some measly small pieces of over cooked ciabatta, bready followed by Rhubarb and Ginger Cheesecake. there was no rhubard and no ginger and i was actually served what looked like cheesecake with passionfruit ( i could tell by the seeds and a couple of piece of strawberry. Good job i didnt have a seed allergy ! then got to my room which was the furthest room away from the reception (885), hotel was definitely not that busy that i need to be the last room on level 3. Went to make a cup of tea to find a dead fly. Given i had driven 2 hours i expect to be able to eat a good meal and not be met with a fly added to my cuppa. the final straw was the dripping tap all night. ill definitely not be back thats for sure and i will be seeking a refund for such poor amenities and because of this i bypassed breakfast opting for something from the local supermarket! There were even other people staying who went out to find takeaway and food, this categorically should not be happening given what is being paid for at the hotel and you should be able to receive decent meal.

Estuvimos el pasado 25 de Agosto de 2012 alojados una noche. Hubo un problema con nuestra reserva y en lugar de una doble, únicamente quedaba una single room y en todo Manchester y 50 millas alrededor no quedaba una habitación debido a un festival. Cuando llegamos el personal nos explicó la incidencia, que fue culpa de Last Minute, y que habían llamado a todos los hoteles cercanos y ninguno tenía habitación y lo que nos podían ofrecer era acondicionar de alguna forma la single para que no durmiéramos en el coche y que posteriormente reclamáramos a nuestro intermediario Last Minute ya que ellos eran subcontratados. Pero por las molestias nos invitaban a todo lo que quisiéramos en el bar del hotel y desayuno para ambos gratuito. Fueron en todo momento encantadores, amables, resolutivos y con intención de ayudarnos en todo momento. Nunca en un hotel me habían tratado tan bien y pese a dormir en los colchones en la habitación, creo que fue el mejor hotel en el que he estado en UK. También he de decir que el hotel tiene unas instalaciones estupendas, el desayuno es muy bueno y tiene un gran parking para los clientes y está solo a 20 minutos de Manchester en coche. Si volviera estoy segurísima que volvería a este hotel en el que me trataron tan bien. Altamente recomendable.
