We ended up leaving rather than spend night there. Hotel felt very unsafe. There were several people just hanging around parking area. Hotel seemed to have permanent residents with school going children. The area where Hotel located very run down- no decent shop or restaurant close by. While room was basically clean there was no air conditioning & no soap in container etc. General condition of hotel was poor.

As we got out of the car in the car park here, we were greeted by a beggar asking for money. The car park was full of children playing, vans and all around “strange” things which put us on edge. This wasn’t a good first impression! We were desperately watching the car on the CCTV at check in. The receptionists we encountered were lovely and spoke good English. The room however was clean and a family room provided a good amount of space. The hotel doesn’t have fans or air conditioning. We were fortunate enough to have good weather in Paris but it made the room like sleeping in an oven! To be honest for a budget chain, the hotel was “OK” for an overnight stop off but the area was absolutely horrific. To be truthful, I have never been so frightened. We walked through an area to get to the metro station and it was absolutely terrifying. We were told to wait for a bus and I was so scared we drove in to central Paris and visited the Eiffel Tower which was about 45 mins in the car. My husband left his watch behind and did get it back when he returned to collect it which was great and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. I don’t think there is much IBIS could do with the hotel in itself but I would avoid the area at all costs in future.

Toilet blocked from the day I arrived, cleaning staff (didn't want to do anything at all , receptionist had to come upstairs to unblock it,will never go back there again
