Stayed here for one night in early March. The staff was very friendly and the lobby was kept clean and neat. There is parking available for an extra fee, but the parking was so convenient and connected to the lobby. The pool and gym were also kept nicely but we didn’t use either of them much. Our room was clean and had a kitchenette inside which we weren’t expecting. I will definitely stay here next time I’m in BH, the price is so worth it!

I stayed at this hotel for three nights. The hotel was just ok in terms of business hotel standards. While they were very communicative via email prior to my arrival (arranging an airport taxi pick up), they did not respond to my emails after check out regarding my sunglasses that went missing at the hotel. It is strange that after repeatedly asking them via email if they had been found, they chose not to reply to any of those emails. Why not just reply to say they have not been found?? I know that they were left in my room as I did not wear them during my stay in the city. These were expensive prescription sunglasses, so a response would be appreciated.

What a disgusting dump!

Old, dirty and run down accommodation! I will never ever again book a room in here in the future! I would not even stay complimentary. The staff was friendly, although English skills were poor and I don’t speak Portuguese. As I entered the room I could see all the dirt on the floor and especially in the corners and next to the walls. The bathroom was outdated and the glass doors were also not cleaned properly, as you could see lime residues all over. As I just arrived from Overseas I decided to have a nap though. I immediately saw all the red and/or brown stains on the duvet, because there was no sheet underneath, but just on top. I think there were not so many hotel experiences in my life, which were so disgusting like this. First I thought, that I will complain at the reception, but then it came to my mind, that the staff would not understand what I mean due to the language barrier. I threw the duvet out of the bed and covered myself with towels, which were not as dirty as the duvet. Actually I should have left the hotel immediately, which I did so only twice before in my life, but I had this one night only in Brasil and I was terrible tired. After a short rest I had a shower, but there was no shower gel in the bathroom, shampoo-and conditioner dispenser were empty. The toilet flush didn’t work properly either, for only a piece of toilet paper you had to flush many times to disappear. Honestly this was one of my worst hotel stays and I don’t want to undergo anything like that again!

Das relativ zentral gelegene Hotel hat wirklich grosse Zimmer - eher kleine Apartments - die modern eingerichtet sind. Die Aussattung ist so, wie man es von einem 3-4 Sterne Hotel der Mercure Kette erwarten kann. Das Frühstück entspricht nicht ganz dem Standard und ist zudem nicht im Preis ingebriffen! Eine einfaches Büffet in einem schmucklosen Raum im ersten Stock des Hotel lädt nicht unbedingt ein. Besser um die Ecke in eine Padaria!

beim check in wurde uns nicht mitgeteilt, das der swimmingpool nicht zu gebrauchen ist. ich habe mich bei der hotelleitung beschwert und die hotelleitung hat einen discount von 20 % gegeben. in zukunft wuerde ich dringent raten dieses manko beim check in zu erklaeren und den preis direkt zu reduzieren. der swimmingpool sollte immer o.k. sein....
